Chapter 1

Hannah and Mike were sitting on the couch. Looking over their wedding guest list. While Moshe was stretched out on their laps. They knew that Bill and Andrea were going to be coming back for the wedding with their daughter Tracy will be coming. And their parents were gonna be there. Hannah's mom Delores wasn't too thrilled about Hannah being married to a cop. It was enough that Andrea the middle child was married to one. But what mattered was that her daughters were happy. It was obvious that they were. Mike still worries about Hannah when she tries to help but knows that he wouldn't want any other partner to help. She hears things in her bakery that the police don't. When Hannah gets up to head to the bakery to bake. Is when Mike is getting up to go to work as well. They knew that since Hannah was the only baker in town. She was gonna be the one to make their wedding cake. That was something they were both okay with that. Mike had always loved Hannah's sweets anyway. He got hooked on them when he first tried her sweets. He fell in love with her. Hannah had decided to try and make cinnamon rolls and add that to the menu. Mike was thinking about her while he was at the station. It had been quiet at Eden Lake and that was a bit unusual for him. Because it's been one thing after another since he had arrived there. He was enjoying it because he could spend time with Hannah. That was one thing they both loved. While Hannah was at home experimenting with cinnamon roll recipes. When Mike came home and told her something smelled good. Hannah told him that she was experimenting with some recipes. Mike told her that he would be the test subject. Hannah loved that about Mike. She was also glad he gave up his apartment. To move into her house. She loved her house. Mike loved how every time he came home from work the house always smelled so good. Either Hannah was baking or she was cooking supper or doing both. If there was a case and she couldn't think of anything right off. She would go in the kitchen and bake. Hannah always said that baking helps her think. Or cope with things. She always feels more at ease or comfortable when she is in the kitchen baking. Especially more when she was helping Mike. Right now she was just baking for the Cookie Jar her bakery that she owned.
