Grant's P.O.V
"I miss you too honey" I said closing up the office.
"Okay babe I can't wait to come home and have you so worn out you won't know what hit you"she sighed
"Okay Georgina I am anticipating that" I chuckled
"Babe," she whined "come look for me tonight, I miss you so much"she sighed.
"Babe that's an eight hour flight" I sighed running my hand through my already disheveled hair.
Ever since we got engaged she has been so clingy, calling and texting me every minute of the day wanting to know my whereabouts. We were never close together seen as she's an aspiring fashion designer that has to be all over the place, she's currently in London attending some fashion show.
I entered my vehicle where I greeted my driver and body guard Nathan. (Nathan is like family.) Upon arrival at the place I called my home, I punched in the code and entered. Where I removed my suit jacket and walked to my large, modern kitchen where I saw my housekeeper Mrs. Gwen cooking baked potatoes and peppered steaks.
"Good evening Mrs. Gwen" I said as I took a bottle of water from the fridge and downed it in one go.
I then went to my room where I took a bath and called my mom to check on the family.
"Sir supper is ready" my butler Ralph said.
"Okay Ralph I'll be there soon" I stated.

After supper I laid on my bed engulfed by darkness, thinking about my first day, and the person who occupied my thoughts for the last two years. Why now when I'm trying to move on?, Why did I come here?, Why didn't she tell me she was leaving? Why was she behaving like that though? Why was she taking care of a kid if she's ill?
Well I didn't expect her to run in and jump my bones, but I still didn't expect to be that cold towards me. I haven't seen her in two years. I haven't seen that woman in two whole years; twenty four months and 19 days, if you're counting. The woman who I gave my heart to, the woman who taught me to love and how to be happy. I am still not sure why she left or why she is behaving in such a manner, but I intend to find out.
