Chapter 12: Nobody can drag me down

"I will not let Grant get me down ,I will not let him ...No..." I chanted in my head who does he think he is? I went to Ariel's bedroom to check up on her. Completely sure she's okay I went to take a bath then called Kate and told her everything.

Climbing under my covers i texted my mom asking her if Ariel could stay with her for a few days. Upon receiving a reply i set my alarm for 3:30. I got ready for bed then feel in a Grant induced slumber.

I woke up to 'Panda' blasting throughout my bedroom,i quickly got out of bed ,threw some formal wear ,i guess they would have to be ironed upon arrival at the hotel if they got crushed in the garment bag.

I then placed the bag with my toiletries and some underwear in the front of my suitcase and placed some heels,sneakers and flats with some sleep and casual wear in the bottom.

I entered the bathroom took a shower for approximately 15 minutes, pulled my hair up in a tight bun. After applying light makeup i exited the bathroom got dressed in a gray and pink pants suit,accessorized with pink pumps and gold jewelry. I grabbed my jacket,car keys and a jacket for Ariel,then all but ran to Ariels bedroom. I took up her sleeping figure and brought her to the car where i strapped her in.

I got my suitcase and garment bag then we were on our way to mom's house.

10 minutes later we arrived, I brought Ariel inside,where i laid her down in my old room,that i can say looks exactly the same. Giving Ariel a kiss,I went to speak with my mom,then i was off to my oh so nice and peaceful occupation *note the sarcasm*
Arriving just 5 minutes before 5, outside stood Grant scowling, upon exiting the car I heard him mutter "your late" I stood tall then faced him " Excuse me? Were you talking to me?" I asked looking puzzled, acting as if i didn't hear. " Yes you Emma I said your late" he replied scowling once more." No I'm not" I rebutted " Yes you are" he replied. " Anyways i don't have anytime for your childish antics, I'm here aren't I ? ...now can we leave?" I said while walking away.

We boarded Grants private jet after all our belongings have been stored. I tried my best to stay away from Grant,because I was still upset with him.After being comfortably seated we took off.

✈️✈Some time later ✈️✈️

"Emma! Emma! Wake up" Grant stated while shaking me." Okay! Okay! I'm up!" I replied ,getting up to freshen up in the bathroom. Grant and i exited the jet and entered a matte black Jeep then we were on our way to the 'Rouge Pommes' hotel,where we would be staying for two weeks.
