i sat up in my bed cus i heard barking. a few seconds later jackie came in with willow and duece right behind her.
"good morning mama. there's breakfast downstairs" she said making me smile.
"thank you" i smiled. i got up and went to brush my teeth before sitting back down on my bed.
"she's so spoiled" i said as willow laid across jackie's lap.
"no fr, i walked in ofc greeted duece like i normally do. willow come over and start like holding up her paws for me to pick her up".
"i started walking to get her reaction and she started crying."
"you a big a** baby yk that ?" jackie said playing with her.
"hey now ntm, she just liked to be loved on" i said.
"yeah she my big ahh baby tho its okay" jack said making me smile.
i played with willow while jack threw duece his toy.
"so how was your boxing session last night ?" i asked.
"it was good! just tryna get this upper body injury to heal" she said and i nodded.
"okay let's go eat im hungry" she said and i nodded.
we walked downstairs and i fed the dogs and then jack and i washed our hands before sitting down at the island.
"what's on your mind mama ??" she asked.
"sometimes i just feel guilty" i said.
"about ???" jack asked me.
"ace and willow. like ace is irreplaceable and that's not why willow is here and i love her so much but sometimes i can't help but feel like maybe i fg about him a lot" i said.
"okay first of all everyone knows how much you love ace including him. everyone also knows that ofc he's irreplaceable but i think you having extra love from willow is good for you" she told me.
"and you always talks about how much you wanted a girl dog and maybe i did wait a little late to get willow for you but there's nothing wrong with that" she added.
i nodded and smiled exhaling. everyday i think about ace and sometimes seeing his body replays over and over in my head.
"thank you bae" i smiled.
"ofc. yk im always here for you love" she said as we kissed.
i felt my phone vibrate and so did jackie's so we knew it was the gc.
