"morning" aja said as she wrapped her arms around my waist. the butterflies in my stomach were going crazy.

"morning mama" i said turning around to face her.

"ouu you look cute lashes done period" she said.

"thank you baby. i was in for a desperate session to get them done" i said laughing.

"how'd you sleep ?" i asked.

"amazing.. i haven't slept that good in weeks" she said.

"that's good my love. your gonna be fine" i said.

"here i made breakfast" i said handing her a plate.

"thank you.. but i didn't know you could cook" she said.

"yeah.. i learned so i could stick to a healthy diet.. moral of the story i still failed" i said as we both laughed.

"well on the bright side your body still tea" she said eyeing my abs.

"thank you love" i said as my cheeks started to heat up. aint no way she got me blushing like this. lord have mercy.

i sat down beside her and rested my hand on her thigh. something about a'ja makes my heart flutter. and it's not normal but the more im around her the more i get this fuzzy feeling.

"do you have a boxing session today ?" she asked.

"yess im so excited too cus i just have the urge to punch a h**" i said as we laughed.

"not you happy to leave me" she said.

"omg stop im coming back mama yk that" i said hugging her.

"so i have a question" a'ja said making me nod for her to continue.

"any past relationships ??" she asked.

"well i dated this boy my senior year of high school up until my 2nd year of being in the league".

"we were long distancing and he told me that he was moving to london for a better job opportunity and ofc i was happy for him & i supported him but it made dating harder".

"so after 4 months of him living in london i went there to visit and i told him yk that we were too far apart" i said.

"how'd he take the news ??" a'ja asked.

"he was p*ssed lol. he said that since i made it to the league that i just thought i was better than him cus i was making more money than him" i said scoffing.

"bye he thought you broke up with him cus you made more money then him ?" a'ja asked laughing.

"exactly, and he said that i couldn't be happy for him that he moved to london yk for a better job opportunity."

"i was heated lol. i told him i was happy for him since the day he told me i congratulated him, I told him how proud of him i was. h*ll i helped him move his stuff and him thinking i was tryna hold him back was beyond me" i said shaking my head.

"but wby ?? any boys you played ??" i asked as we laughed.

"lol. there was one boy. we dated for 2 years and then he cheated so i busted his brand new range rover windows & i dented it and keyed it."

"i ripped up his scholarship letter, burned his new white clothes and shoes and busted his ps5" she said making me stare at her in shock.
