You wouldn't guess it, but moving away hasn't been so bad. I know it's only been a few days but already I can tell the difference in my mother, she seems calmer here. I don't know if my father slipped her a pill again or something but I like the quiet.
We had a party a few days ago when we first arrived. I got to walk through the door in a massive party dress but I mostly found myself sitting alone. There aren't many kids here.

My father hasn't changed much but he's been busy, he's preparing for someone to stay with us. I'm not sure yet but I think it's him, that man that everyone's talking about. He told me that the man would be a mentor for me, and take over my training lessons.

Hows Hogwarts? I've sent a letter to Lily & Marlene and a few others but I wasn't sure how many letters my owl could carry so tell James, Remus, and Peter that I'm thinking of them.

I can't believe it's already been 10 days. 

Im sorry I didn't write earlier, James and I have been busy, we're trying to find a broom that can fly us to France which has so far been unsuccessful. 
I'm glad your mum is better, just be careful with what you drink if your dad has been popping pills lately, and if you ever feel oddly serene owl me, hopefully, our broom will be ready by then.
Has the man arrived yet? I hope not, if it is him then your father will be the least of your problems.
Did you say anything to Pandora before you left? The other Slytherins have all ghosted me but for some reason she keeps sitting next to me in Potions. I think its annoying Cissy, shes had to go with Snivillus for the past 3 lessons.

Dear Sirius,                                                                                                   5/10/71
I was right, it was him.
His name is Tom, and I think he's quite mad.
I go home from school on the weekends and he trains me, but it's worse than when my father did it. He trains me with a different type of magic.
I wish you were here, it would make it all easier. 
I'm not struggling at school or anything, in fact I've actually made a bunch of friends. Beauxbatons is a lot closer, the houses don't matter as much here. We even all sit at the same table at dinner, its nice.
Speaking of friends I met someone last night, a girl. She doesn't go to school but she lives in the woods outside the grounds. Her name is Addie and she's really pretty, she reminds me of Remus. 
Speaking of, tell him to write back quickly, I have a few questions for him.
