Two days passed since the night hunt. Wangji couldn't stop thinking about Wei ying . He used to feel shy remembering that accidental kiss. He's feeling something for that beautiful omega. He's confused about his feelings. He can't even ask anyone to know about these strange feelings cause preparations for his and Mian Mian's wedding have already started . He don't want to cause trouble now so he's quiet.

Yunmeng :

Wei ying came out of his room. He stopped in his tracks as he heard his grandfather and grandma talking.

Fengmian said while holding a wedding invitation card , "Yu ! Lan Wangji is getting married in three days. Master Lan sent us invitation. We'll have to go to Lan clan day after tomorrow".

Wei ying's eyes filled with tears. He was feeling angry and sad hearing all this . He don't want this marriage to happen. But what can he do? He have to think of something . Wei ying angrily went back to his room.

Gusu :

Wangji was tensed . His wedding is in three days. He wants to stop this marriage. He was getting restless so he decided to go out of Gusu by excuse of Night hunt . He knows his mother won't agree but he will have to convince her. His uncle and Xichen will allow him .

Wangji decided to go and talk to his mom. He started going towards Gentian Cottage .

Wangji talked with his mother . His mother wasn't agreeing with him . She didn't wanted Wangji to go for night hunt and gets hurt before marriage.

At last Wangji somehow convinced his mom that "nothing will happen to him . He'll come back safe'. Lan Xia helped Wangji In convincing Lan Yi. Wangji said 'thank you' to Xia through eyes.

Xia smiled . She's angry and annoyed cause she don't want her brother to marry that witch Mian Mian. She wishes Wangji don't come till the wedding day and let Mian Mian and the jins get embarrassed on the special day . She just hates those arrogant Jins.

Yunmeng :

Wei ying was feeling sad . He decided to go out and meet Wangji . He even sent a letter with Wangji's name . He's not sure whether Wangji will get the letter or no but he tried . He wishes Wangji gets the letter .

So , Wei ying went out of Lotus Pier. Yanli saw him going out but said nothing cause she knows Wei Ying's nature very well. Wei ying can't stay at one place for longer. He likes to roam around and have fun. Yanli thought Wei ying will come back later . For her assurance she sent a Jiang guard after him secretly. Yanli then went away from there .

Wei ying was walking in the market . He was looking around as If to see that no one is following him.

Wei ying then started going away from there. The Jiang guard was silently following him. This guard is fully aware of Wei ying . He knows Wuxian runs around like this . This guard mostly follows Wei ying secretly by Yanli's order .

Time Skip :

Wangji came to Yi Village. He was roaming here and there. Now everything's well here . The villagers are roaming here and there freely. Wangji remembered the time he met Wei ying. Don't know why but internally Wangji wished to meet Wei ying. He then went to an inn to have food and take rest . He got tired coming here (on sword) from Gusu.
