Nalu’s Point of View
The bustling school hallway was alive with the chaos of students finishing their assignments and preparing for the final bell of the day. But amid the noise, there I was, entangled in a situation I never thought I would find myself in.
In the crowd, whispers of support came from my classmates, some practically cheering for a spectacle they wouldn’t forget. Olivia had always been the Queen Bee, and I was just a simple girl caught in her twisted game.
“Let go of me, Olivia! You’re not funny anymore. What do you want?” I exclaimed, wrestling her hand away from my hair. Her laughter echoed through the classroom, a maddening soundtrack to my escalating frustration.
At hindi ako hihinto hanggang hindi ka umalis sa paaralang ito!” she taunted, her eyes glinting with a maniacal glee as she twisted my hair.
Her obsession with Sir Yoshio was toxic, but I couldn't afford to show weakness.
Her grip tightened as she dragged me towards the teacher’s desk, a cruel smile painting her face.
I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins, the voices of our classmates cheering us on only fueling my desire to fight back. “You think this is a game?” I shot back, determination igniting my words. I wouldn’t allow her to walk all over me any longer.
“Naiirita talaga ako kapag nakikita ko ‘yang pagmumukha mo,” she hissed, her eyes dancing with malevolence as she pushed me harder.
It wasn’t long before the school marshals arrived, their presence ushering in a sense of dread. “Tama na ‘yan! Split up!” one of them shouted, grabbing my arm and pulling me away from the chaos. “You’re both going to the guidance office!”
I caught a glimpse of Sir Yoshio at the door, his expression a mix of shock and mystification. “Nalu!” he called out, but I was already being dragged away.
Inside the guidance office, I recounted the entire incident, my heart racing in frustration. But the three staff members exchanged glances, their disapproval evident.
"Nalu, we understand how challenging these situations can be, but you must understand the boundaries between students and teachers," the counselor said firmly.
“Ha? My voice cracked, desperation oozing out as I tried to express my feelings.
You cannot approach Sir Yoshio anymore and you both know that this is against school policy and the law,” the counselor admonished.
“He is your teacher, and you are his student. And let’s not forget, he is married." she continued.
“Eh, kasi ‘tong si Nalu masyadong pabida!” Olivia rolled her eyes.
