After their kiss broke, Sanemi found himself looking at Giyuu with a mix of desire and confusion. Giyuu held onto him tightly, her breath coming in quick, uneven bursts as if she were about to say something. Just then, a man stumbled into her, jostling her from her daze. She blinked, suddenly realizing where she was, and quickly released her grip on Sanemi.

Her cheeks flushed crimson as she glanced around the bustling bar, the reality of the situation crashing down on her. In a moment of spontaneity, she pushed Sanemi back into his chair and placed her purse on his lap.

"What...?" Sanemi began, bewildered by her sudden shift in behavior. Before he could finish his question, Giyuu turned and dashed toward the washroom.

Sanemi, still trying to process what had just happened, grabbed her purse his mind racing. As he moved "Shit..." he thought and quickly put to his spot, he bumped his head against the table with a soft thud. "What the hell..." he muttered, feeling his face heat up even more. He buried his face in his hands for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts. "This is not the place, buddy," he scolded himself, attempting to calm his racing heart.

In the washroom, Giyuu stood before the mirror, staring at her flushed reflection. The heat in her cheeks was undeniable, and she splashed cold water on her face, hoping to regain some semblance of control. The kiss replayed in her mind like a whirlwind, overwhelming her with a rush of emotions. Her heart raced, a mixture of excitement and panic coursing through her veins. "Get it together, Giyuu," she whispered to herself, taking a deep breath.

Meanwhile, back at the table, Sanemi sank deeper into his thoughts. He poured another drink, trying to drown out the memories of their kiss. "What was that?" he mumbled to himself, taking a deep gulp. The alcohol burned down his throat, but he welcomed the distraction. Every time he thought of Giyuu, of the way her lips felt against his, the intensity of her gaze, he felt his resolve waver.

He glanced toward the washroom door, anxiety gnawing at him. What if she didn't come back? What if that kiss had scared her away? He couldn't shake the feeling that he had crossed some invisible line, and the weight of it pressed heavily on his chest.

As he fidgeted in his seat, he noticed Tengen and Kanae laughing and dancing, blissfully unaware of the turmoil he was in. The carefree atmosphere around him only intensified his feelings of frustration and confusion. Why did Giyuu have to come into his life and shake everything up?

Suddenly, the washroom door swung open, and Giyuu stepped out, looking slightly more composed but still radiating that nervous energy. Her eyes searched the room until they landed on Sanemi, who was now averting his gaze, pretending to be interested in the group across the room.

"Hey..." Giyuu said softly, approaching the table. Her voice was quiet, almost tentative.

Sanemi looked up, trying to mask his earlier turmoil with a casual smile. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, his voice steady but his heart racing.

"Yeah, I just... needed a moment," Giyuu replied, her gaze dropping to the floor, then back to him. "I'm sorry about earlier. It was... unexpected."

"Yeah, it was," Sanemi admitted, his tone dropping slightly. He could feel the tension hanging in the air between them, thick and palpable.

Giyuu bit her lip, her face still warm. "Can we... maybe talk about it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Talk?" Sanemi echoed, unsure how to approach the situation. His heart was pounding in his chest again, the thought of their earlier kiss flooding his mind.

"Yeah, I mean... it was just so sudden, and I don't want it to be weird between us." Giyuu fidgeted with her hands, avoiding eye contact.

Sanemi took a deep breath, realizing that this was a moment of truth. "It doesn't have to be weird," he said, his voice firm. "But... I won't lie; it caught me off guard."

Giyuu nodded, looking up to meet his gaze. "It caught me off guard too. I wasn't expecting to feel that way, especially not here."

"Yeah, it's definitely not the best place for that kind of thing," Sanemi chuckled nervously, breaking the tension a little. "But, I mean... I liked it."

Giyuu's eyes widened, and her heart fluttered at his admission. "You did?" she asked, surprised yet hopeful.

"Yeah," he said, his voice steadying as he leaned closer, his seriousness returning. "I did. But I don't want you to feel pressured. If you want to forget it happened..."

"No!" Giyuu interjected, her eyes fierce. "I don't want to forget it. I just-" she paused, searching for the right words. "I just want to make sure we're both okay with whatever happens next."

Sanemi felt a warmth spread through him at her determination. "I think I'm okay with whatever happens next," he replied softly, a small smile tugging at his lips.

"Good," Giyuu said, her face breaking into a relieved smile. The tension began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of understanding between them. "Maybe we can take things slow?"

"Slow sounds good," Sanemi agreed, feeling lighter.

As they shared a quiet moment of connection, the chaotic sounds of the bar faded into the background. For the first time that night, both felt a sense of clarity, as if they had navigated through a storm and found a moment of calm.
