It's been few days of Jimin's performance, but he kept in touch with Do-yun, often messaging or sharing little updates. Their connection grew warmer, with Jimin genuinely valuing Do-yun's encouragement, and Do-yun enjoying the lightness Jimin brought to his otherwise driven, focused life.

One day, Jimin sent Do-yun an urgent message, asking him to come to Taehyung's apartment immediately. Do-yun's worry kicked in instantly. Was something wrong? He hurried over, arriving at Taehyung's door, which was slightly ajar, and entered to find the apartment dark and silent.  he was Just about to  called out, the lights flickered on, and voices shouted, "Surprise!"

Jimin stood in front, holding a cake, his smile wide and bright. Behind him were Taehyung and Yoongi, both clapping and singing along. For a moment, Do-yun was completely still, his heart flooding with warmth. He hadn't celebrated his birthday in so long, not since he'd poured himself into building his life and career alone. With friends a distant memory, he'd all but forgotten what it felt like to be remembered in this way.

Do-yun's eyes grew misty as Jimin walked up, his face glowing with pride and joy. "Happy birthday, hyung," he said softly, his voice brimming with sincerity. As Do-yun cut the cake, the warmth between the four of them felt like a world of its own, close and comforting. The evening melted into laughter, with Taehyung getting progressively more tipsy, much to Yoongi's gentle chagrin as he finally guided him to bed.

As the evening came to an end, Jimin stood, ready to leave. "I'll drop you," Do-yun offered, his voice casual but touched with gratitude, and Jimin agreed. They walked in companionable silence until they reached Do-yun's car. Just as he opened the door, Jimin gasped lightly, tapping his forehead as if he'd forgotten something. "Wait!" he said, fishing into his bag. "Your gift."

With a gentle smile, Jimin handed him a small box. When Do-yun opened it, he saw two elegant ties and a brooch—simple yet remarkably beautiful. He felt his breath hitch as he took in the gift, the thoughtfulness in each piece mirroring Jimin's gentle spirit. Unable to hold back, Do-yun leaned forward, pulling Jimin into a deep embrace. It was more than just gratitude—it was the feeling of being seen, of being valued for the first time in so long.

"Thank you so much, Jimin," he murmured, his voice breaking slightly. "You have no idea how much this means to me." Jimin froze momentarily in the warmth of the hug, before gently patting Do-yun's back, his hand comforting and steady. The connection between them, the unspoken understanding of a bond that was just beginning, felt pure and profound. Do-yun realized, for the first time in years, that he had someone who cared—truly cared—and it lit a warmth in him that he hadn't realized he'd been missing.
