Third Person POV

"It's nice to see you again, mom. I really missed you." Asha smiled at her daughter, Alex, who was sitting up from bed, her mates surrounding her. "Me as well, my little flower. Can't wait to see what you will do next."

Smiling at her mother, a wave of dizziness suddenly hit Alex. Before she could say anything, her eyes rolled back in her head and she fell back on her bed. Her mates and mother shouting in a panic.

Hearing their shouts, Alex tried to open her eyes but couldn't. Slipping deeper and deeper into the depths of darkness till she could hear nothing. Not her mates, mother, nor her own wolf.

Looking around confused, laying on her back, Alex sat up. Her wolf ears pin down against her head, feeling slightly afraid on what's going on.

Then, she realized something. She didn't feel any pain. Looking down and lifting her shirt, the wound she got from her uncle wasn't there. Getting confused, Alex stood up. Looking around again in the void of darkness.

"Hello, is anyone there?" She called out, turning her head. Getting no response. "Eli, if this is some kind of prank then I'm gonna hide your paints for a week."

"This isn't a prank, Alex." Alex flinched, snapping her head to see a bright light having the sharp of a woman. "Who's there?" Alex called out, taking a step back. "There is no need to fear, my child."

Alex gulped, her hands in tight fists. 'Yeah, no. I don't wanna deal with this.' She thought, before turning around and began to walk away. "Where are you going?" The female voice asked.

"Away from you, I'm not in the mood to deal with this...whatever this is right now. I just woke up after being stabbed." Alex replied, blinking only to see the light woman suddenly in front of her. Making her stop and take a step back.

Glancing back behind her where the light woman was just at before turned back to the light woman. Taking another step back. "Okay Miss light lady, I don't know what you want from me, but I don't have the energy to deal with this or you right now."

The light woman tilted her head, letting out a small chuckle. "You are a funny one, but sadly, you will not be leaving anytime soon."

It was Alex's turn to tilt her head, starting up at the light woman. "What are you talking about?"

"The little explosion you did back at your uncle's hideout worn out your magic. It's gonna take a while for it to be fully restored, so in the meanwhile you have to stay here."

"Yeah, I rather not." Looking the light woman up and down, Alex took a step back before turning around and going to leave.

But she froze when she felt a strong, over-whelming presence right being her. Eyes widening in fear when seeing glowing hands appear from the corner of her eyes. Moving to cover her eyes.

'Move. Run.' Alex gritted her teeth, her fingers twitching as she tried to force herself to move but couldn't. Her feet were stuck where they were and no matter how much she struggled, she wasn't going anywhere.

"I apologize, but it's not up for discussion, little one. You need to rest, you'll need it for the upcoming challenges you'll face. Night, night." The woman leaned forward so she would whisper in Alex's ear. "Our world rests on your shoulders, Alexandra. Remember that." That was the last night Alex heard before she collapsed, falling into a deep sleep for a really long time.

Author: Yay, I'm back doing this story... how fun. (I've finally returned. How joyful. This chapter is sucky but who cares? Cause I don't.)
