What my heart wants

Jimin knew without doubt that Jungkook would go to his house when he found him gone so he went to his offices where only known to his closest friends he had an apartment.
He'd used it when starting up when he'd worked so many hours that he hadn't seen the point in travelling to and fro.
It could only be entered through Jimin's office and the door was cleverly hidden by a panelled wall but it was equipped with a pull down bed a sofa tv basic kitchen and a bathroom.
He remembered when staff members always seemed surprised he was at work 'before' them.
It was late when he got to his building and all staff had gone....except Jin.
"Jimin! Your back!"
"Hi Jin,why are you still here?"
"Just finishing up.....did you need something here?"
"I'm.....staying here for a bit.."
Jin frowned .
"Is something wrong?......I've been worried and then there's a letter with a hospital stamp on it and then your mate charging in and I had to lie to your sister to get........." Jin shut his mouth quickly as Jimin stared at him.
"You told him where I might be?"
"Jimin he was really worried and admitted his faults he said he was going to make it up to you....i just asked your sister where you hung out by pretending I needed something I didn't mention Jungkook to her."
Jimin pursed his lips.
"I'm really disappointed in you Jin my private life should be just that...private....I don't care what he told you but just so you know......I'm pregnant with his pup and when he found out he thought I'd run away to kill it.....does that sound like a mate to you?" So if you don't mind butt out of my business,I don't want him knowing I have a place here,I don't want him in my office and if you can't stop interfering I don't want you working for me!!"
Jin was shocked not only at the news but the pain in Jimins eyes as he told him.He could see Jimin was deeply hurt and he felt ashamed of himself too,wasn't he supposed to be Jimins personal secretary as well as his friend yet he'd divulged too easily Nimins business and he knew how much Jimin hated that. For Jimin to threaten him with sacking showed just how deeply this had hurt him.
"You're right Jimin and I'm ashamed of myself you have no worries for the future.Now how can we make this easier for you?"
Jimin's shoulders slumped.
"I really don't know Jin.....when I told him I was pregnant after he thought I was dying,I thought we finally had it.....then he said that.......i know he's going to have to be involved but right now I need a break from him and less stress.I also need to work."
"First things first....do you mind if Joonie knows...if not he can bring some food and bits over so you don't have to go out."
"Well,he'll know eventually so sure."
"Great.....now your car,is it parked downstairs?"
"Well yes I used it from the airport..."
"Keys please,I'll park it in the lockup garage so Jungkook won't see it."
"I never thought of that...here..."
"Right you go in and sit down,remember to close the blinds so no light shines through outside,I'll be back in a sec...."
Jin took the keys Jimin offered and was almost at the door when...
"Jin....Im ....sorry I threatened to sack you..."
Jin turned smiling warmly,
"You had every right Jimin sometimes I forget myself...now go in and rest."
Jimin went inside his office and walking to the panel pressed it in a certain spot and it clicked open,he left it open for Jin and stepped inside,pressing the button to close the night blinds before he switched a light on.
He surveyed the little apartment and felt oddly happy to be somewhere he'd called home for a long time.
Putting his travel bag down ,he went and got himself some water.
Before long Jin was back and talking rapidly.
"So Namjoons on his way,I told him to bring various food,wasn't sure what you could and couldn't eat,I've called your house security to up the checks in case that wolf tries to break in,oh and I thought,just so no staff is caught lying how about you work in here,they won't see you so won't be lying if he does come here because let's be honest he doesn't like to be denied."
"Thanks Jin,I can escape to the rooftop via my hidden stairwell for fresh air."
"So.....how far along ?few weeks?"
"Erm actually.....I fell pregnant when we got together that time my heat came early."
"What! Goodness no wonder you have looked tired,can I see?"
Jimin shyly exposed his rounded tummy.
"It's a little small,have you been eating properly?" Jin frowned.
"I try but I usually am sick after."
"Hmm,what about trying stuff you normally wouldn't eat? I know it sounds silly but your tastebuds change when you're pregnant."
Jimin laughed," how do you know this?"
Jin for once looked serious.
"Joonie and I miscarried ,when we first got together....,it happens but well the cravings were there."
"Oh god I'm so sorry Jin how awful,why didn't I know this,I've been there since you two met?"
"We....I.....,didn't want to have the sympathetic looks,that break away for a month wasn't just a romantic getaway it was for us both to recover...."
"I feel awful now and so self centred,I gave you a bit of a hard time about wanting so long off,please forgive me Jin."
"Hey it was years back.....we are ok and if we get a miracle,you'll be able to give me parenting tips!"
Jimin got up and hugged Jin just as Namjoon walked in carrying bagfuls of food.
"Hey is this a group hug?"
Jin and Jimin chuckled before hugging him too.
"So Jin's told me and regardless of the situation congratulations,we are here for you."
"Thank you."
"So first things first,I've checked flights he can't get one til tomorrow so you can sleep well tonight,secondly Yoongi rang and said in his own words,
'If I need to let anyone(you) know Jungkook will be very persistent,he is mad at himself,mad for you leaving and is in full on alpha mode,it was intentional that he told Jungkook he couldn't get a flight til the morning to give you time to prepare and he hopes that you can sort yourselves out but he's rooting for you."
"Goodness......things are going crazy what do I do?"
"What do you want Jimin?"
"My heart wants him,my wolf wants him but I'm still hurt he could think I'd hurt my....our.....pup.Maybe ....he needs to have time to think on his actions?"
Jin and Namjoon gave a smirk each.
"Is it wrong that I'm liking this too much?" Jin asked
"What an alpha being put in his place by an omega?No love....I'm a beta and you keep me in line all the time,will be nice to see someone else get it!"
"Joonie!" Jin looked affronted then grinned," true though"
"So guys you want to eat with me?"
"Let me cook you two chat,"
Jin got cooking in the small space while Namjoon and Jimin spoke.
"Keep yourself under wraps here,we can lie easily if we say you're not in your office ,it will be true he won't suspect us.Anything you need Jin and I can get...so are you ready for this?"
Jimin nodded determindly," I can do this I'm not a puppet he can use,he either wants me as I am or he doesn't ,for now I just need to look after me and baby!"
The other two nodded and they sat and ate Jin giving Jimin little sample dishes he found really tasty for once not throwing up.
After cleaning up Jin and Namjoon left making sure everywhere was locked .
Jimin settled down in his bed rubbing his tummy,
"I'm sorry if I seem hard on your daddy baby ,but he can't just say and do what he wants because he's an alpha ."
As if agreeing with him he felt a flutter inside as his pup kicked. Grinning he said,
"Thank you baby,night night."
