Baby's in charge

Jungkook drove straight to Jimin's after his early morning flight but when he got there,he was exasperated to find nobody answering the door.
"Come on Jimin open up!"
"Excuse me sir,what is your business here?"
Jungkook turned to see two men looking at him.
"That's my business what are you doing here?"
"We are security,we keep an eye on properties if their owners are away.
"Well this owner won't answer his door !"
"The owner isn't here."
"He must be....Park jimin?"
"Hasn't returned yet."
"Fuck!!"
He got into his car looking at his watch then drove to Jimins offices.
Going inside he bypassed the reception and took the stairs ignoring the calls of the receptionists.
At Jimins floor he marched past the many employees and up to the area that housed Jin and Jimin.
He saw Jin coming from Jimins office and went to barge in.
"Jungkook what are you doing here?"
"To see him!"
"Who?"
"Jimin of course"
"But didn't you go to him?"
Jungkook stopped," he's not in his office?"
"Jimins not in his office....but you know that?"
Jungkook couldn't resist though and turned the handle opening the door but the room was empty.
"I thought.....damn it's like my heart is telling me he's here ,probably because this room holds his scent..."
"I told you he isn't in his office," Jin said with sincerity he was glad Jungkook didn't ask him if he knew where he was as he might not be able to carry that off,so he deflected it by asking,
""Didn't you see him then?"
Jungkook had the grace to look guilty.
"I er did."
"So?"
"Well erm Jimins not....ill as such...."
"Well that's a relief!so?" Jin pressed
"Jimin's pregnant with my pup!" Jungkook burst out
"A pup!!great news,I can be its godparent and buy pink fluffy things!"
"Not if it's a boy and who said your it's godparent?"
"Jimin will of course....I can't wait!!so why do you think he came back?"
"Well I.....it was.......things got a little.......ah shit,I opened my big mouth and.........." His voice tailed off.
"And...?" Jin pressed knowing full well what happened but wanting the alpha to admit it.
"I kinda accused him of....running away to get rid of my pup........" his voice trailed off,hearing himself say it out loud to someone else making him feel a bigger jerk than he already did.
When there was no reply he looked up to see Jin,arms crossed looking very angry.
"Are you a few brain cells missing? You accused our sweet Jimin of trying to kill his own child? God I thought alphas were supposed to be the more intelligent type of our species...you sure messed up"
"I know...that's why I need to talk to him,he's not answering my calls,so I can't apologise."
"But why an earth would you say it?"
"I don't know,I have trust issues ok,I mean we were together I thought things were fine then he chose to break up then he disappears then I find out he's pregnant.....I haven't had any choice in this......"
"Well you could have stopped being so reluctant to admit you were in love...Jimin hasn't had much love given to him which is why he gives so much to his sister and would do anything for her...hell he hasn't actually stayed with anyone before other than hookups for his heat,so to be with you meant something he put himself out there whole heartedly but when he realised you weren't going to change he gave up..."
"Look I understand ok...,but he never said he loved me either in fact he seemed to hold something back."
Jin looked at the alpha seeing that what he said was true.
"Hmmmm,seems you both need couples therapy!"
Jins phone buzzed and he looked at it then hurriedly put it away.
"I'm sorry Jungkook I have an important meeting"
"If you speak to him you will tell him right?"
Jin nodded then watched as Jungkook with slumped shoulders walked away.
He hurried into Jimins office and tapped on the wall and the door clicked open.
"What is it are you ok?"
"Jin....I really,really need some ice cream ......like now"
"Ice cream...? God I thought something had happened....Jungkook was here."
"He was...?erm....can we talk about this after you get me some ice cream?" Jimin pouted
Jin laughed," craving some are we?"
"It's what the baby wants....its the first time I've felt so desperate!"
"Ok ,ok,what flavour ,vanilla,strawberry,mint....chocolate?"
"Yes,"
Jin raised his brows," you do know you should eat healthy?"
"I will,I will but after the ice cream !"
"Ok I'll order a delivery..."
"No,no the convenience store near by it will be quicker if you go."
Jin laughed then nodded and left.
Jungkook sat in his car trying to think where Jimin would be when he saw Jin exit the building hurriedly only to cross the road to a store.
"I thought you had a meeting?" He mused
Ten minutes later Jin rushed out again carrying a bag grinning before going into the office building again.
Jungkook frowned then got out of his car and went into the shop going to the cashier.
"Hey I'm just wondering my friend was just here I tried to call him as he rushed out but he didn't hear me,I just wanted to check he bought everything on the list before we meet up,tall handsome guy...?"
"Well if your list was just every ice cream sure," the shopkeeper laughed.
"Ice cream er yeah oh and these please," Jungkook grabbed some moochi sweets randomly.
"You guys have a sweet tooth!" The shopkeeper smiled.
Jungkook paid then went back to his car,why would Jin buy a bag of ice cream?
He got back in his car putting the sweets down and shaking his head tiredly.
"Damn....I'll to work see if Yoongi knows anything"
He drive to his workplace ,employees bowing as he strode in going straight to Yoongi's office where Tae lounged on a nearby chair.
"Oh Jungkook you're here," Tae said jumping up.
"So are you ...not in your office?"
"I um,was just asking Yoongi what to get Hobi for his birthday..."
"Why bother he can buy what he wants?"
"God no wonder you and Jimin broke up you're so unromantic."
Jungkook growled as Yoongi coughed to get Tae's attention quickly nodding to the door to make the other leave before he got himself in trouble.
Tae huffed and strode out.
"What does he know," Jungkook snarled
"He didn't mean anything Kook,he doesn't know Jimin's pregnant,I was surprised when you told me....so what now?"
"I just need to find him,I went to his office and he wasn't there or his home has Namjoon said anything to you?"
"Well no but I haven't spoken to him recently."
"What can I do Yoongi,he won't take my calls he's ignoring me..."
"Maybe sit it out? He might need time?"
"But I don't want to miss any of it,I want to know he's well that he's healthy,anything else that goes with pregnancy...when it's due! I know nothing..."
"Well I don't know much about it either,except for doctors appointments ...oh and cravings my mum craved spicy kimchi for every meal with me."
"Cravings.....see I don't know what he craves either!"
"Maybe you should be glad you don't have to make late night trips to the shop for stuff."
Jungkook sighed then frowned muttering," to the shop?"
He smiled," gotta go....."
He rushed out driving back to Jimins offices where he sat outside waiting.
As the workday drew to a close Jin and Namjoon walked out nothing in their hands.
Damn he'd sat here all day waiting to follow Jin to see where he delivered the ice cream thinking he would take it to Jin .
His window was ajar so when Jin's phone rang he heard the conversation .
"No it's not healthy there was enough for a week you'll be sick eating anymore,just sleep the craving will go..if you need anything else beside ice cream call ok.....no I'm not being cruel tell baby uncle Jinny is not letting his mumma throw up....well baby can want all it pleases no more ice cream.....ok...bye love you take care of my godchild.....of course it will be....how can anyone but me be it? Bye bye."
Jin finished the call laughing and chattering to Namjoon before they got in a car and drove off.
Damn it Jin knew where Jimin was,had he slipped out while Jungkook was with Yoongi ?
The late afternoon had turned dark as Jungkook glanced at the building lights were gradually dimming as cleaners made their way through,he suddenly saw a flicker of light where Jimin's office was...wait no Jimin's office was near but not there...the light vanished as quickly as he'd seen it but then a dim glimmer on the roof showed like a phone light.
Did security check up there too?
He shrugged his shoulders then drove home. He showered then made something to eat before sprawling on his sofa listening to the rain that had started pattering against the window.
He needed to corner Jin tomorrow but he also needed to keep calm.
Jin was obviously someone Jimin respected so he needed to keep that in mind.
The rain got heavier and suddenly a flash of lightening skittered across the sky followed by loud bangs of thunder.
Out of nowhere Jungkook felt an unease fill him,it was as if it wasn't something he was feeling but something else...Jimin! The feeling got stronger..a panic and he quickly rang Jin.
"Yes Jungkook?"
"Jin where is he?"
"I told you he's .."
"Don't lie Jin you brought him ice cream ..."
"How did you..."
"Look somethings wrong....hes panicking I can feel it!"
"W-what?"
"Something is going on and he's scared"
"Shit,Joonie ring Jimin..."
"WHERE IS HE!"
"Look you...what...oh god,Jungkook his offices it's on the news,lightening has hit them..."
"His offices but..."
"He's there Jungkook,right there he has an apartment there,we will meet you there!!
