Over the next few days, Aurora focused on the necessary preparations for the upcoming tests. Jungkook stayed by her side, ensuring she felt supported. They talked about their fears and hopes, grounding each other through the uncertainty.

One evening, as they sat on the couch after putting the kids to bed, Jungkook turned to Aurora, a serious expression on his face. "I've been thinking... if anything were to happen, I want you to know how much you mean to me and our family. You're irreplaceable."

Aurora felt a lump form in her throat. "You don't have to say that, Jungkook. I'm not going anywhere."

"But if there's even a chance, I want to make sure you know how much I love you. You've made my life better in every way," he said earnestly, his eyes searching hers.

"I love you too. More than words can express," she replied, her heart swelling with emotion. "You give me strength when I feel weak. We'll get through this together, I promise."

"Together," he echoed, leaning in to kiss her softly, their connection deepening in that moment of vulnerability.

Finally, the day of the tests arrived. Aurora felt a storm of emotions as she entered the clinic with Jungkook. The waiting room felt suffocating, filled with the anxious energy of others awaiting news.

"Do you want to talk about anything while we wait?" Jungkook asked, sensing her nerves.

"Maybe we could talk about our plans for the holidays? I want to make sure we have a fun Christmas this year," she suggested, trying to redirect her anxious thoughts.

"Great idea! I was thinking we could get a real tree this time. Minji would love to decorate it with us," he replied, a smile breaking through her tension.

Aurora nodded, grateful for the distraction. "And we can bake cookies and have a little party with our families."

Jungkook's eyes lit up. "I love that! It'll be the best Christmas ever."

Just then, a nurse called her name, and the wave of dread washed over her. Jungkook squeezed her hand reassuringly. "I'm right here with you," he reminded her as they stood.

They walked into the doctor's office, where the doctor awaited them. Aurora felt her heart race as she took a seat, Jungkook sitting close beside her.

"Aurora, I'm glad you're here. We've received your test results," the doctor began, her tone professional yet warm. "The good news is that the irregularities we found appear to be benign. However, we recommend a follow-up in a few months to ensure everything remains stable."

Relief flooded over Aurora as she absorbed the information. "So, I'm okay?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

"Yes, you're okay. It's important to continue regular check-ups and listen to your body, but I don't see any cause for concern at this time," the doctor reassured her.

Jungkook's grip on her hand tightened, and she could see the tension leaving his body. "Thank you so much," Aurora said, tears of relief streaming down her cheeks.

The doctor smiled, encouraging her to take care of herself and not hesitate to reach out if she needed anything. As they left the office, Jungkook pulled her into a tight embrace.

"You did it, love! I knew you would be okay," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

Aurora clung to him, relief washing over her. "I couldn't have done it without you."
