Jisoo watched Jennie stumble slightly, clearly tipsy, as they stood by the car. Jennie, despite her inebriated state, was determined to drive.

"I'm driving," Jennie declared stubbornly, her eyes narrowing in defiance.

Jisoo chuckled, crossing her arms. "You're drunk, Jennie. No way I'm letting you drive."

Jennie leaned against the sleek, black car, running her hand over its surface like it was some precious artefact. "Did you even see a car like this in your life? I'm not going to let you drive this."

Jisoo couldn't help but laugh at Jennie's haughty tone. Her mind briefly wandered to Lisa's words, reminding her how Jennie and her family are often all about money and appearances. But Jisoo shook off the thought-she wouldn't judge her, not like that. Still, she couldn't ignore the fact that Jennie was too intoxicated to drive.

"Come on," Jisoo said with a soft smile, "Let me get you home safely."

Jennie huffed, but after a few moments of resistance, she tossed the keys in Jisoo's direction. "Fine."

As they drove through the quiet streets, Jisoo kept glancing at Jennie, worried about her. When she noticed that Jennie hadn't fastened her seatbelt, she sighed, pulling the car to a stop. Leaning over toward Jennie's seat, she reached for the belt, her arm brushing lightly against Jennie's side.

Jennie's breath hitched, her heart skipping as she blurted out, "I'm not a devil, you know."

Jisoo froze, her eyes locking with Jennie's. They stared at each other, the air between them suddenly thick with tension.

"I didn't sleep with anyone," Jennie added, her voice quieter, more vulnerable. Her eyes seemed to search Jisoo's, looking for something-perhaps trust.

Jisoo's gaze softened as she saw the sincerity in Jennie's words. "You are indeed handsome," Jennie murmured, recalling something Soyoung had once said. Jisoo blushed, but a confident smirk quickly followed.

"That's something I'm aware of," Jisoo teased, trying to wink but failing miserably. Jennie, despite her tipsiness, burst into laughter.

Jisoo raised an eyebrow, surprised. "What? What's so funny?"

Between her laughter, Jennie managed to say, "Miss Perfect has a flaw-you can't wink!"

Jisoo couldn't help but get lost in Jennie's laughter. It was the first time she'd ever seen Jennie's gummy smile up close, a side of her hidden behind the tough exterior she usually displayed. Beneath her difficult, almost aloof demeanor, was a cute girl with a captivating smile and the softest, most beautiful cheeks. For a moment, Jisoo was mesmerized until she noticed Jennie smirking at her, fully aware of the effect she was having.

Jennie leaned closer, her lips just inches away from Jisoo's. "Falling for the devil is dangerous," she whispered, her voice low and teasing.

Jisoo snapped out of her daze and smiled. She calmly fastened Jennie's seatbelt, her fingers brushing Jennie's lap as she did. "I thought you said you weren't a devil. But don't worry, I don't fall easily."

Jennie pouted, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Why?"

Jisoo bit back a smile, feeling a strange mix of emotions as she looked at Jennie. "Because I avoid the self-obsessed ones. There can only be one between two, and people say I'm so obsessed with myself there's no room for another."

Jennie, quick as ever, cupped Jisoo's face, her touch gentle yet bold. "There will be only one. My mind is already getting obsessed with you." Her words struck a chord, making Jisoo's heart race, though she fought to maintain her composure.
