After French ended, we went to go and get lunch from the food hall. There were so many options there; pizza, burgers, salad, chicken wings, fish fingers and more! I decided to get some chicken wings because they came with a serving of chips on the side. Then, I got a bottle of orange juice and went to sit down at one of the tables.
Michael and Piper joined me soon after. Michael had a burger with apple juice, and Piper had some salad with some water. This was another thing that reminded me of Pip; my mum used to always use her as an example so that I would eat my veggies. Speaking of Pip, I had stopped trying to summon her now. She was clearly either ignoring me or just absent.
Anyways, we had a lot of fun talking in the canteen, and the food was delicious. I didn't really wanna know how much it cost. My mum is not going to be happy when she finds out. But, that is a problem that I will deal with when I get home, and there are still two hours left until that happens.
Then, those two girls came into the food hall. Could we ever get away from them? I wasn't really that happy about them coming in because they were like the definition of trouble, but maybe they would leave us alone.
Any hopes I had of that happening were quickly dashed when they came up to our table. I sighed inwardly, preparing for the battle that was bound to happen.
"Excuse me, can you move? We want to sit here." The dark haired girl said.
"Go sit at another table." I said, gesturing to the empty tables around. I was not going to move.
"Watch your tone girly. We can make your life very difficult." The blonde girl sneered, looking me up and down with a look of disgust. "So, you can move without any trouble, or you can meet us near the parking lot after school."
I was not backing down. "Fine, I'll meet you there at 3:45, with Piper."
"Fine, I'll bring Cherry with me."
After saying that, they went to go sit outside. Michael nudged me hard.
"What did you do that for?!" He said.
I buried my head in my hands. "I have no idea why. I am so screwed!"
"Don't worry, I'll call your parents if you get knocked out." Piper said.
"And how is that going to help me!?" We all laughed a bit at that. It helped to have a good sense of humor in a situation like this.

After lunch ended, we had to go to math. This was definitely my least favourite lesson, but at least it was nearly the end of the day. I held on to that as I looked at the board and saw my assigned seat. Granted, it wasn't the worst seat in the world, but it was kinda mid. Although, I suppose maths in general is mid.
As expected, we got a short debrief of what we would learn this year and the rules of the classroom. Luckly, they weren't as restrictive as the rules in science and were actually kinda normal. Then, she gave out our math books. They were a deep blue with grids on all of the pages. I guess that would make it easier to draw graphs.
Today, we were doing something about standard form, which I had already learnt about back in seventh grade. The work was pretty easy, and I was one of the first to finish. The teacher gave me a big smile before handing me the extension sheet. It was some more questions like the ones I had already done, and so I finished those as well. The teacher was pretty impressed, and said that I could read a book since I had already finished all the work.
