Mitch POV---
Huh... Just a normal day... I guess if you wanna call it 'normal' its just the same old day that I always have. I wake up eat breakfast get dressed, school, and back home, and everything repeats itself.

I usually spot a little birds nest up in the tree every now and then, just to see the tiny birds grow up. This day at lunch time I didn't see the little birdies and I wanted to check it out like usual, and when I got up there I sorta stumbles and fell to my DOOM! The end. Cx
[100 word hype]
No not really. (But he did stumble) any ways back to ze stori...
As I fell I saw life in a different way, life was slower than I imagined it. I felt like I was flying, but then I felt the hard concrete pull me into a hug, and all went black.

But I still felt awake. I occasionally opened my eyes to be surrounded by people,
but one specific person stood out, I guess he was new because I never saw 'him' before. Then. People started flashing lights in my eyes, talking about maybe a concussion and traumatic brain injury. And I felt exhausted, they didn't want me to go to sleep. They'll shake every now and then, shining lights in my eyes, asking questions. Even though your head throbs, and you feel dizzy. They just wouldn't let me go.
Then they started asking questions which I had no memory of like: "Who found you after you fell" and "why we're dizzy, did you eat?" or "What kind of bird were you trying to see when you leaned in forward to far?"

Time skip: 2 weeks ago. At the hospital for my weekly analysis:

I said that I couldn't even kick a soccer ball without losing my balance, or play air guitar without almost falling, I couldn't even climb into my kayak, or even stand steady on the house boat.

Just when I thought all hope was lost. A miracle happened while I was in bed watching tv with my mom, they featured a commercial about U-WILL. As soon as I saw that commercial I hugged my mom, trying to give her a signal of I want to go there. Its about a miracle test, that uses traditional drugs with light and oxygen, and its suppose to be the new savior for people who can't find themselves or the pieces they lost to an accident, sort of what happened to me.

When we read about U-WILL, everything changed. I watched as my mom called my dad for help and her face grew with hope. Maybe if I went, I'd be normal again. Maybe I could be happy again. Those maybe and could found the way to my heart and my parents. I mean how could it not? A way for me to be normal again? Please you don't even have to ask I'll say yes! Then everything came together so quickly--the referral from my pediatrician, phone calls, work schedules rearranged, plane tickets booked, the plans whipped up as fast as instant brownie mix!
(Sorry about that reference I am hungry! CX)

I didn't really have any time to get nervous. Not until Mom and I stopped at a local dinner at Camilla's Grille in Everglades City, right before I got admitted to start the program.
The air was thick and moist, with a lot of mosquitoes. as we enter the dinner my eyes scan the room, until I spot that boy from school. I asked myself why is he here? Its kinda far from home. But I shrugged the thought and sat at the table where my Mom picked out for us. A waiter by the name of Charlotte, no wait Carly, no! Wait I have to remember it it it was Kelly? Yes! Yes! Its was Kelly. Her name tag said Kelly she looked about my Moms age and wore a faded, rumpled old apron tied over a gray shirt and light blue jeans. "What would you like to order?" She asked and I pointed the food out to my mom and she ordered.
Suddenly Thunder rumbled, and wind fluttered our shade umbrella. "I hope this storm isn't bad."
