Next Morning:

The morning sun filtered through the blinds, casting soft rays across Jungkook and Taehyung's cozy bedroom. Jungkook opened his eyes, blinking at the warm light, only to see Taehyung gazing at him with a gentle smile. Their faces were close, noses brushing as they exchanged sleepy glances, enjoying this quiet moment together. Taehyung leaned in, placing a soft kiss on Jungkook's lips. Jungkook grinned, returning the kiss with a light peck on Taehyung's forehead.

"Good morning," Taehyung murmured, voice deep and husky from sleep.

"Morning, baby," Jungkook replied, squeezing Taehyung's hand. "I was thinking , we could spend the day together. I have a few places in mind..."

Taehyung hesitated, biting his lip. "hyungie, I really want to, but I have an exam on Monday. I'll need to study today if we're going to relax tomorrow."

Jungkook's face fell slightly, a pout forming on his lips. "But it's Saturday..." he whined softly.

Taehyung chuckled, brushing his fingers through Jungkook's hair. "I know. I promise it's just today. I'll study hard, and then tomorrow, I'm all yours."

Jungkook sighed, but a soft smile replaced his pout as he nodded. "Alright, alright. You're doing this so we can be together tomorrow. Fine, I'll let you study. But don't get so deep in your books that you forget me."

They shared a few more moments before heading downstairs to grab a quick lunch since they had woken up late. Afterward, Taehyung kissed Jungkook goodbye, heading upstairs to his study room, and Jungkook watched him disappear up the stairs, already missing his presence.

Left alone, Jungkook wandered the mansion until he heard familiar voices from the lounge. Namjoon, Hobi, Jimin, and Yoongi were seated around a low table, casually chatting and sipping on whiskey. Seeing them laughing, Jungkook's face lit up as he decided to join them.

"Well, look who decided to join us!" Hobi grinned, raising his glass when he saw Jungkook standing at the door. "Come on in, Jeon! We don't bite."

( They are little drunk )

"Not usually, anyway," Jimin added with a mischievous smirk, making the others chuckle.

Jungkook rolled his eyes but couldn't help the smile tugging at his lips. "Don't mind if I do," he said, grabbing an empty glass and pouring himself a drink. He sat down, glancing around at the group. "What's the big occasion?"

" No occasion," Namjoon replied, leaning back comfortably. "Just felt like catching up. Been a while since we just... talked, you know?"

" Yeah," Jungkook admitted, taking a sip. "I guess things have been kind of... intense lately."

Yoongi nodded, swirling his drink thoughtfully. "Feels good to just sit and talk. Sometimes it's hard to remember we're all more than our 'jobs'."

"True," Hobi agreed. "We started as friends before anything else. Just feels nice to go back to that every once in a while."

Jungkook looked around, a flicker of nostalgia crossing his face. "You know, you guys were always a bit insane for following me into this life," he said, half-jokingly. "I never really asked why."

Namjoon shrugged, smiling. "Because we believed in you. Still do."

Jungkook's expression softened, surprised by Namjoon's straightforward answer. "You guys..." he started, but trailed off, feeling uncharacteristically moved.
