Next Day:

The room was filled with the scent of expensive cigars and whiskey, dimly lit by an ornate chandelier. Jongin reclined on a leather armchair, his cold gaze fixed on the flames flickering in the fireplace. Sungho entered quietly, holding a folder, and bowed slightly before taking a seat across from his boss.

Jongin without looking up leaned more backwards said "You're late, Sungho".

Sungho apologetically said "I had to confirm a few details. You'll find it was worth the wait."

Jongin leaned forward, intrigued, and gestured for sungho to speak.

Sungho opened the folder, laying out photographs and documents on the glass table, As he pointed towards the photos "Jeon's next big move is with foreign clients. He's securing deals with a cartel from Europe-a dangerous but profitable partnership. The meeting is planned for next week, and he's keeping the details tightly under wraps. But I've managed to uncover the location and some of the key players involved."

Jongin's eyes glinted with interest as he studied the photos and notes. As he smirked "Foreign clients, huh? I told you his overconfidence would be his downfall. He's been reaching too far, and it's only a matter of time before someone yanks the rug out from under him."

He picked up one of the photos, examining it closely.

Jongin: Arrange a meeting with these clients before Jungkook gets to them. We can manipulate them easily. Foreigners care about power and profit, not loyalty. If we play our cards right, we can turn them against him.

Sungho nodded "Understood. I'll make the arrangements. But Jungkook is thorough-he might suspect something if we're not careful."

Jongin grinned "Let him suspect. It won't matter once his allies become my allies. And with his growing list of enemies, it's the perfect time to strike."

Jongin leaned back in his chair, his expression turning thoughtful. After a moment, he looked at Sungho sharply.

Jongin: What about V? Have you found anything on him?"

Sungho hesitated, his expression grim as he shuffled through the papers "ummm , going after V or digging into him is a risk we can't afford. He's not just an assassin-he's the deadliest assassin ACE has ever had. The way he operates, it's like he and Jeon are the same person. They're always in sync. Targeting him could backfire in ways we can't control."

Jongin raised an eyebrow, his intrigue deepening. "So, you're saying he's untouchable?"

Sungho nodded " Exactly!!, Trying to get to V is like walking into a death trap. There's no past, no records, no trace of anything that could be used against him. If Jungkook is the brain, V is the shadow that eliminates anyone who dares come close."

Jongin let out a low chuckle, leaning forward slightly, his smirk grew wider "Interesting. So Jungkook's most dangerous weapon is also his greatest shield. Very well. We'll leave him alone for now and focus on the foreign clients instead. But..."

Sungho glanced at Jongin warily, sensing the unspoken question but with cold determination he said "I still want to know about him. Even if we can't use him, I need to understand what makes him so dangerous. Keep an eye on him, but don't dig too deep. Not yet."

Sungho sighed, his expression grim, but nodded." I'll see what I can do, but don't expect miracles. If there's anything about V that can be uncovered, it's buried deep."

Jongin leaned back, his dark smile returning, "Then start digging. Slowly, carefully. If V is as untouchable as you say, then understanding him will give us the upper hand when the time comes."

But soon a knock interrupted them, as a man walked inside, "Is the parcel ready?" Jongin asked.

The man nodded, "Yes, sir. It's prepared as per your instructions."

Jongin's lips curled into a malicious smirk as he walked over to the man, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Good. Deliver it to the Jeon mansion personally. Make sure it reaches jungkook hands ."

:::Understood.

The man left the room without another word. As the door closed Sungho leaned forward, his curiosity evident.

Sungho: What's in the parcel?

Jongin's smirk deepened as he laughed softly, the sound filled with malice. "Ah, sungho, always so curious. Let's just say it's something only Jungkook and I understand."

Sungho frowned slightly but knew better than to press further.

Jongin coldly said "Do your job, Sungho. You ask too many questions, it's time for him to show my presence ".

With that, Jongin walked back to his chair, sipping his whiskey with satisfaction, leaving Sungho to wonder about the parcel's contents and its purpose.

Meanwhile,

Jungkook is standing in front of the window his hands inside his pocket, it's about 11 am, the sun is almost on the head but his thoughts stuck on one person his baby, he know he have to tell him that Jongin is back, but he still couldn't find out how he will handle Taehyung now, he know this day would come soon but he is not ready for it, even though tae has become much better than before but still his condition is still not that better.

He sighed, he have to inform his members have to make preparations about it, he know how cunning he is, this time he won't let him win.

As he turned around and went towards living room called his members, for a meeting.

********

Taehyung sat in the front row of the quiet lecture hall, his expression stoic as he focused on the professor's words. His pen moved swiftly across the page, taking meticulous notes. The morning light filtered through the windows, casting a faint glow on his sharp features. The room was silent except for the occasional rustle of paper and the professor's steady voice.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the class. Taehyung leaned back briefly, rolling his shoulders before gathering his books and notes. As he reached for his bag, a small medicine packet slipped out and landed on the floor with a soft rustle. He picked it up, inspecting the empty packaging with a blank expression. It was his last dose.

Sliding the packet into his pocket, Taehyung slung his bag over his shoulder and left the classroom without a word. he walked to his car. The sleek black vehicle roared to life, and he drove toward the mansion with practiced ease, his mind wandering briefly to the growing need to refill his prescription. The roads were quiet, mirroring the calm before the storm that always seemed to hover around him.
