38. Letter

Next Day:

The soft glow of the desk lamp illuminated the room as Jungkook leaned back in his chair, his fingers lightly tapping the edge of a letter. His sharp eyes read it for the third time, a faint smile playing on his lips.

The door creaked open, and Namjoon stepped inside, his expression curious and cautious.

Namjoon: (gesturing to the letter) "What's that about?"

Jungkook handed him the letter without a word. Namjoon scanned it quickly, his brow furrowing deeper with every line.

Namjoon : Seriously! An abandoned warehouse for the meeting? This feels wrong, Jungkook. These clients are pushing unusual terms.

Jungkook chuckled softly, setting the letter down on his desk.

Jungkook: (calmly) Relax, Namjoon. Not every unconventional request is a trap.

Namjoon: (persisting) Even if it's not, it's a risk. You know we have other options.

Jungkook stood, adjusting his cuffs with practiced ease.

Jungkook: I'm aware of the risks. But sometimes, the biggest rewards come from taking calculated risks.

Namjoon crossed his arms, clearly unconvinced.

Namjoon: (cautiously) You've thought this through, haven't you?

Jungkook smiled knowingly, his tone light but firm.

Jungkook: Always. Now, gather the others. Meeting room in five minutes.

Jungkook entered the meeting room to find his trusted men—Namjoon, Yoongi, Jimin, and Hobi—already seated. The air was heavy with anticipation. Jungkook took his place at the head of the table, resting his hands on its surface as he looked at each of them in turn.

Jungkook: Finally we just received confirmation about the location for our meeting with the foreign clients—an abandoned warehouse.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable as always, while Jimin leaned forward, visibly intrigued.

Jimin: A warehouse? That's... different.

Hobi: (frowning) Or dangerous. It doesn't sound right.

Namjoon, still standing by the door, folded his arms.

Namjoon: (calmly) I already told him it's risky. But you know Jungkook—he has his reasons.

Jungkook gave Namjoon a faint smirk before addressing the group.

Jungkook: You're all thinking the same thing—that this isn't a normal deal. And you're right. But sometimes, we have to adapt to our clients' demands. That's what makes us the best.

So first of all listen carefully is-----.........

Skip after 1 hour::::::

Jk: so everything is clear?

All: Yes Jeon!!

Soon everyone leave the meeting room after listening to Jungkook, As soon they all left the room, Tae entered inside, as there eyes met he made his way towards him and sat on his lap, jungkook was quick enough place him in a comfortable position.

As Tae wrapped his arms around his neck "You do realise that it's too riskyy to meet some clients in a abundant warehouse hn?, (sigh)... but I trust you everything will be alright!".

Jungkook smiled and pecked his baby's lips, and again and again, until they started making out, soon they got interrupted by a phone call it was Jin.
He quickly picked up the call and heared......
"Everything is undercontrol".

He cut down the phone again facing towards tae who was looking so tempting by his red cherry smudged with saliva glistening in the dim light of the dark room, he again pecked his lips , he wrapped his arms around his bum and lift him up with him as they made their way towards their room, while tae snuggled in his neck like a baby well he is though.

Tae was sleepy, jungkook tuged him on the bed , who slept immediately while hugging a pillow, he placed a peck on his forehead, sat beside him caressing his head softly.

Jungkook kept starring at him who was sleeping so peacefully, "you can't even imagine the depth of my love for you baby, you're so precious to me, i would never let anyone snatch that smile of your again, my love".

He sighed got up from the bed, as he made his way towards the balcony starring at the moon . Unknowingly a tear escaped from his eyes.

As he still remembered how tae was scared to be alone, in daylight he would hallucinate things, his family getting killed in front of him while he just stand there being numb, and in night, he would have those horrible nightmares, his life become so miserable in a short time that he still felt guilty of his condition. Even though tae show he is okay now , but inside he know how he still crave their presence, not only him but he too.

Cause it wasn't just tae family but it was Jungkook's too, he used to spend more time in the Kim household, his soohee eomma never let him feel the absence of a mother figure in his life, but the life become too cruel it took everything from them just because of a greed of a man.

They both were just a child who were forced to grow up.

After two Days:

Jungkook was going towards his several godowns and whereabouts to check the securities himself as Jongin is targeting him so it's risky to weaken any spot, while his other members handling the other bus he gave him,
It was already evening when he returned to mansion , for now everything was going good....
