"Fuck you! I don't know who you are but fuck you. Fuck that God of Death, the God of Balance, that shitty Sealed God. All of you gods, fuck you! Just leave me alone and let me feel the feeling of resting in peace!"

Silence descended and Cale thought that that voice has finally leave.

It's just that the way of the world was never that easy.

"As you can see. As a mortal human there is nothing you can do right now. Do you think that God is actually dead? Cale Henituse, you should know where I am going at, right? Aren't you smart?"

Cale knows that this person is just using the deep-rooting anger that he has to that god as an excuse for him to accept the ascension.

'It's not like what his saying is wrong'

As of now, there is nothing he can basically do. He didn't even know where he is. Whether he is dead, or his consciousness is just floating in the middle of nowhere, he doesn't have any way of knowing.

But he also doesn't know what would happen the moment he became a god. He knows the heavy responsibility of overseeing a world. It might even come to the point of obsession just like what happened to the God of Death.

He cared too much to the world that he watches over that he willingly broke rules for that world to survive. It may be due to his guilt or deep love, but it became the cause for his self-destruction.

"So, what is your decision?"

After thinking the consequences that his decision might bring to his self and future. He replied with a hesitant voice.

"Okay. I will become a God"

"That's great. The only things you have to do is oversee a certain world, maintain its balance and to make sure that it would follow the world's cycle

"Cycle?"

He already knows everything there is about the balance of the world. Since, that was one of the reasons why he was given the curse in the first place.

"It's the worlds own destruction and new beginning. After all, a world cannot continue to exist forever. It has to follow the rule of the universe to die and reborn again just like life."

"I see."

That must be why the God of Death broke the mandates rules. He tried to go against the law of the worlds destruction he has responsibility to

"Then you can start now."

"What?"

'Isn't this too soon? I don't even know what kind of world. I need to take care of '

Cale do not have the time to process what happen next as he felt his mind hazing as if travelling in an absurd speed. But even though everything is disorienting too him he clearly heard what the voice said.

"Don't worry. The place you'd be in the moment you wake up is the world you need to manage. Of course, in order for you to know the job you need as a God is to understand the world itself. In short, you first need to live your life as a normal human there. Isn't it great? Good luck!"

He was scammed. Well, not really. But.

I hope I would be sent in a normal world at least. No apocalypse, please.
