The metal bat scraped against the concrete ground as I walked towards my prey of the night."Ms. Kim! I will pay you back every single penny if I must! But spare my life!" I let out a snarl as I maneuvered the bat expertly in my hand. "Spare your life? You must be kidding." I looked over at my assistant and he stood sharply. Good. He sure doesn't want to be the next in my list.
"Do you have anything for me to know about?" I asked and my assistant gave me a firm nod as he looked down at the tablet in his hands, scrolling through whatever file. "Hanni Pham, a 19 year old college student. Works at a cafe down the street of her home, spends her time at the library near her campus, has an unchanging schedule. Mother has passed a couple of years back and father well..." He looked over at the man kneeling down in front of us.
"Ms. Kim, please, stay away from my daughter. I'll do anything but don't get her involved in this." His voice showed some type of authority and that my brow twitch in slight fury. How does he dare to speak to me like that? I'll show him who's boss around here.
And I'll use him as an example to the rest of the men in the room with us.
"I highly believe you're not at the spot to be demanding anything from me, Mr. Pham. And if you want me to spare your life, I suggest you stay quiet." I said as I looked at my assistant again. "Sounds like the perfect deal for me." I said with a wicked and sinister smile.
"Ms. Kim! I beg for you to not touch my daughter. She's innocent in all of this." He begged once more. I was starting to get annoyed. "You should've truly thought of that before deciding to go and rob me, and not only that, you decided to gamble that money away like a stupid idiot! Loosing every last cent of it." I said and he looked down.
"Go and get her, now!" I yelled out and my assistant was quick to get out of my sight as I turned to look back at the old hag in front of me. The bat being the source of his attention. "You're truly going to wish never doing that to me." I said as I with on hand pulled up the sleeve of my white dress shirt, and then doing the same to the other sleeve.
"Ms. Kim, please!" He begged once more, and I've had enough of this game. "Shut up!" I yelled as I maneuvered the bat smoothly into a swing against his ribs. The scream of pain that erupted from him brought me pride. He fell to his side, swaying side to side to nurse the pain.
I looked down at the bat that now had some blood splattered across it, squatting down next to his aching body. "If you weren't such a bastard, I'd feel the tiniest bit of bad." I said with a snarky smile on my face. "I've been your boss for the past two years, Mr. Pham." I said standing back up fully.
Signaling one of the men in the room to pick him back up into his kneeling position. "You'd know how I work things around here, I am not my father that would let anything pass." I said, looking into his fear filled eyes. "I can't have such a rustic man around. Robbing me and gambling money that isn't his, after everything that I give to you." I said as I looked back down at my bat.
"And you for sure know I don't spare life's." I said with a stomach turning smile as I flipped the bat once and this time swinging it against his head hardly. I could hear the crack of his skull. "And that I definitely will never let anyone recognize you ever again." I said, swinging the bat to hit against his body, over and over again.
Until my white dress shirt was filled with his blood.
And his body unmoving.
"Your daughter will be in very safe hands." I said with a mock. His every bone was surely broken, his face deformed, blood everywhere on the concrete ground and bat. I looked over at the small table filled with torture equipments and knifes. I threw the bat to the ground and focused on grabbing a new toy.
I looked over every single knife and settled to grabbing the cleaver. "Grab me a box." I said to one of the men as I went back to his limp body, aligning him perfectly on the ground. I later squatted back down and grabbing him by his hair and chopping his head off with the sharp cleaver.
My men came to me with the box, I picked up his head and threw it into the box. "Put that in the police's front door step with a little mocking note. And make sure to bury his body next to his wife's." I said as I stood back up and wiped the blood on my dress shirt.
I looked up to see my good old handyman of assistant walking into the warehouse. "We got her, she's currently being transported to a room." He said with a bow and I gave him a nod. "Perfect, make sure she gets dressed to my liking." I said and he gave me a nod.
"Also, make sure this place gets cleaned up until the concrete ground manages to sparkle clean. Oh! And also remind Ms. Kang about our meeting tomorrow, unless she wants to end up as dog food." I said as I walked past him, heading out of the warehouse house as I grabbed my coat that hanged at the side.
I reached into my pocket and took out a cigarette, flaming it up with my lighter as if I have done nothing wrong under the moonlight that shined above me.
