Henry glanced at Alex and said, "We need to go over what happened."
Alex looked at Henry and said, "Yeah right, so i got hit by that car and somehow just stood up like nothing happened. I mean, one minute I was on the ground with that nasty injury, and the next, it was like I was fine again. I don't even know how to explain it."
Henry exclaimed, "That was crazy! I still can't believe it! How is that even possible?"
Alex shrugged and said, "I know, right? It felt like a scene from a movie or something."
Henry looked at Alex, curiosity written all over his face. "So, what happened when you called me? I was freaking out, man! Did you even realize how serious it was at first?"
Alex took a moment, looking a bit shaken. "Dude, it was wild. I looked in the mirror, and I was as pale as my white makeup. It freaked me out! And then... I swear I saw my eyes glow for a second, i looked at my teeth and I could see fangs. I didn't even know what was happening to me!"
Henry squinted at Alex, clearly not buying it. "Are you joking right now? You better not be! After what I saw you doing, I could believe just about anything!"
Alex shook his head, determination in his voice. "I'm not joking! It all started when I woke up in the woods. And then I noticed this bite on my neck. I have no idea how it got there!"
Henry's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, what? You didn't tell me about a bite! Show it to me!"
Alex slightly turned, revealing the bite on his neck. But as Henry examined it, he smirked and said, "Very funny, Alex. Is this some kind of prank?"
Alex didn't understand and looked at his neck in the rearview mirror, shocked when he saw that nothing was there. "I swear there was a bite! I wouldn't make this up!"
Henry's expression shifted slightly, a hint of concern creeping in. "Really? Are you sure you're not still in shock after seeing Jake's body again?"
Alex shook his head, his voice a mix of frustration and urgency. "No i'm not, I know what I felt! That bite was real, Henry."
Henry chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "Are you sure you didn't just bump your head a little too hard? Because it sounds like you're seeing things!"
Alex shot back, "If that's the case, then we both must have bumped our heads after what we saw! There's no way we imagined all of that!"
Henry went quiet, taking in Alex's words. The silence stretched between them until a sudden call from Alex's phone broke the tension, startling both of them.
Alex took the phone and answered, "Yeah, what's up ?"
Iris's voice crackled through the phone, "Are you guys almost there? Everyone's waiting for you!"
Alex replies, "Hey Iris, we're almost there! Just dealing with some unexpected things."
Iris responds, "You guys will tell us everything when you come here, just hurry up !"
Alex replies, "Alright, see ya !" and hangs up.
Henry glances at Alex with a hint of worry and says, "You're not going to spill everything, right? We need to figure everything out before telling them."
Alex nods in agreement, his expression turning serious. "You're right. It'll freak them out even more than the Jake situation. We really need to handle this carefully and make sure we have everything sorted before we bring it up."
