Krushen Celestial, the most powerful wizard of the Celestine clan, possessed an unparalleled ability to move planets. Unlike other light clans, some claimed his powers exceeded even that, yet all that was witnessed was his ability to align planets with the Sun to defeat Thinisius, the most formidable evil entity to ever exist. The origins of Thinisius remain shrouded in mystery; some legends suggest he was born from the wrath of a farmer whose daughter was brutally slain. In his quest for revenge against her murderer, the farmer attempted to cast a spell, but his fury spiraled out of control. Unable to identify his target, he inadvertently conjured a monster bent on annihilating everything in its path.
To safeguard his legacy, Krushen created a jewel that contained all of his magical power, intending for it to be passed down through generations. To prevent conflict within his clan over the jewel's power, he established a family tradition of having only one child. Krushen was a profoundly wise man; he amassed most of his power through knowledge, dedicating himself to studying celestial beings and their properties for better management of his abilities.
Aware that, despite their united front against the monster, the other clans might eventually turn against him and his family for control of the jewel, he took drastic measures to distance his family from the elitism prevalent among the clans. For 2,048 years, he successfully protected them from this fate — until his descendant Alliya enrolled in Lyrenvale Academy, a school steeped in elitism. There, her true identity and capabilities are destined to be unveiled.
Lyrenvale Academy is a prestigious institution dedicated to training the most exceptional magicians, wizards, sorcerers, and all forms of magic users in the world. Due to the high tuition costs, the academy generously accepts one student from each elemental category each year. This year, Alliya Solaria has been chosen as the representative for the light element.
