The sun rose on a beautiful morning, casting a golden hue over the quaint garden where Akshara and Abhimanyu had chosen to celebrate their wedding. It was a modest yet heartwarming affair, a small gathering brimming with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Inside, Akshara stood in front of a large mirror, her heart racing as she adjusted her bridal lehenga—a stunning red with intricate golden embroidery. The outfit was as meaningful as it was beautiful, symbolizing a blend of tradition and new beginnings. At her side was Kiara, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Akshara, you look stunning !" Kiara gasped, adjusting the dupatta on Akshara's head. "Abhimanyu won't be able to take his eyes off you."
Akshara laughed softly, her nerves fading with her best friend's support. "Thank you, Kiara."
Kiara beamed, reaching out to give Akshara's hand a comforting squeeze. "You deserve all the happiness in the world. Now, let's get you to your groom."
As Akshara took a deep breath, she noticed Sid entering the room with their daughter, Kairi. Kairi, dressed in a miniature lehenga, ran to Akshara, her face lit up with excitement.
"Massi, you look like a princess!" she squealed, hugging Akshara.
Sid grinned at Kiara, a spark of pride in his eyes. "Looks like our little Kairi has great taste, just like her mom." He winked, causing Kiara to blush. As Sid wrapped an arm around her shoulders, Kiara felt a pang of longing. Watching Akshara's joy made her heart flutter with the thought of her own wedding day with Sid.
"Sid," Kiara whispered, leaning close, "I think... I might be ready to make this official someday. You, me, and Kairi."
Sid's face lit up, his eyes softening as he looked at her. "Kiara, whenever you're ready, you know I'm here."
Kairi, overhearing, clapped her hands and chimed in, "Yes ! Mommy and Daddy, get married too!"
They all laughed, feeling the warmth of family and dreams merging in that single moment.

When Kiara led Akshara out to the garden, where the wedding ceremony would take place, the guests stood in awe, the lush greenery, vibrant marigolds, and soft music setting a perfect stage for their vows. Abhimanyu, waiting near the altar, couldn't take his eyes off her. Dressed in a traditional sherwani, he looked both dignified and utterly smitten.
As Akshara approached him, guided by Kiara, their eyes met, and time seemed to stand still. Abhir, standing at his father's side, bounced with excitement, his tiny hands clutching a ceremonial garland.
"Mommy !" Abhir called out, his voice bubbling with joy. "Are you ready to marry Daddy?"
"Yes, Betu, I am," Akshara replied, her eyes glistening.
"You're breathtaking," murmured Abhimanyu, his voice filled with admiration.
"Thank you," she replied, a blush creeping across her cheeks. "And you look quite handsome yourself."
The ceremony commenced with Abhir standing proudly at the front, his tiny hands holding a ceremonial garland. He looked up at his parents with wide eyes, a mix of excitement and responsibility on his little face.
"Today, I get to tie the knot for Mommy and Daddy !" he declared, beaming at the crowd, who erupted in laughter and applause.
"Let's do this, Betu!" Beamed Abhimanyu.
As they stood facing each other, Abhir stepped forward, holding the garland between them.
"Mommy, you have to promise to love Docman forever !"
