Chapter 2

Rebuilt

Lily, Mila, and Squeaks were waiting at the table to eat. Jack grabs 4 plates and puts burgers on them. They had soft bread, crunchy lettuce, gooey cheese, and juicy patties, you should try some... oh wait you can't cause your dead but anyway. Once they started eating there was a knock on the door. "Are you expecting visitors brother?" Lily asked, and Jack shook his head. "Mila, can you get the door please?" Lily asked, Mila got up and went to the door. Once she opened it she saw a girl who looked older than her, with pink hair, sun like hair clip, yellow shirt, pink eyes, long sleeves, white socks, and a skirt but she was pouring wet because of the rain. "Hi, can I help you?" Mila asked, the girl said "Please can I come inside I've been starving for a long time, please can you let me in." Mila nodded and opened the door for her.
"Mila who was at the door?" Lily asked, When she opened her mouth to speak the mystery girl came in, grabbed a chair and sat next to Squeaks who was confused. Jack spoke first "Uuuuuuhm...who is she?" Mila responded "Oh she just asked if she can stay for a while...so can she". Everyone was silent, but Jack answered first "Sure but we have to bring her back to her family by tomorrow ok" Mila nodded, But then the girl explained how she had no family and lived on her own when she was a child. Jack said "I'm sorry to hear that Ms ... .uh" "Elithabeth sir". After that she would be another member of their family.

6 weeks later
Jack sits outside watching the sunset on a hill. "This really is a nice view," he said. Just then a scream came from a nearby school, Jack used his powers to speed himself up. Once he got there, nobody was there. Weird he thought to himself then he went back to the hill.
Mila, Elithabeth, and squeaks were playing tag outside near their house. Then Lily, their aunt, called them to go eat. As they are eating Mila is thinking about something then says "Hey dad." "Ya Mila?" Jack responds. "Why don't we have a mom?" Mila asks, Jack with a surprised look is trying to find the words to answer her. Then Lily answered first "Mila! That's rude." , "Oh I'm sorry." Mila said. Jack didn't respond. "Ok auntie I'm done." Squeaks said, Lily nodded and then they left. Leaving Jack and Lily, his sister/Mila's auntie, alone. She died years ago before I met you girls is what he wanted to say but instead told Lily "I'm going to sleep,".
    The next day
Mila asked Squeaks and Elithabeth if they wanted to play tag, and they agreed. "Ya'll can't catch me!" Mila exclaimed, then they started running to a part of the woods they had never been before.
    Wonder why I'm not getting a signal on my phone said the greyhead. Just then the three girls come running in. "Whoa whoa whoa, stop right there you're not supposed to be here" said the gray head. Mila asked why and he responded "Because you're not supposed to". Mila nodded then left with her sisters. Boss please hurry, the gray head thought.
  I won't give up until I find it, Jack thought as he walked through a blizzard in the middle of nowhere. He was getting colder and he was feeling like he would pass out. He looked out into the horizon and saw a restaurant and he walked straight towards it.
  Phew. The owner finally finished with the final two customers and after that there was a knock on the door huh who could that be he wondered. As he opened the door he felt a sudden dejavu coming to strike him but he didn't know why. Anyways he opened the door and said what he always said. "Hello, welcome to the Butter Back Shack. How may I help you?" Jack stared at him and he felt like he had seen him before. Jack said "Can I have a hot coffee?" The owner nodded and took him to his seat. As he was in the kitchen he looked through his staff and saw the reason Jack was here. Just can't tell you because of plot reasons. The owner gave Jack the coffee and asked "Sorry to ask you but why are you looking for Your #####?" Jack asked The owner how he knew that and then he told Jack that he can see why people come to this area. Jack got up and said "Thx for the coffee." Then he gave the owner $30 and left.
     As Jack left the BBS (Butter Back Shack) he went to an area where the snow already melted and saw how beautiful the place was. "Boy, the girls would love this place." Just then the world started to glitch and everything went black.

    Hmm the gray head was thinking then he found the groceries. ¨Ok now I need to pay.¨
         "Oh f-." Jack crashed onto the roof and face first and felt tired. I'm back he thought then realized "THE KIDS!" Then he zoomed off the roof to the front door.
        His headache grew worse and he wondered how long he was out. What in the world flame thought looking around then he saw a figure and realized this was Jack's enemy. "What do you want?!" Flame asked. Before the figure answered, Flame passed out.

    During the night Squeaks couldn't sleep so she went to get a glass of milk. When she opened the door it was dark, but she didn't want to turn on the light so she just went to go get the milk. When she got to the kitchen she seemed to feel uneasy. Her stomach ached and her head hurt like someone was there. She could see a distorted figure. It was reaching closer, and closer but she couldn't move. "Squeaks, what are you doing here?" Jack asked, but she couldn't speak. Jack looked at her with suspicion and asked "Is something wrong?" Squeaks shook her head. Then Jack took her to his room and they both went to sleep?

The next day
Mila was checking books at the library because she was waiting for her friends. As Mila was looking for a book to read, Flame came up behind her and trapped her in a bag.

Squeaks went to her dad and asked if they could go to the store and Jack said yes. When they got there Jack said "Ok Girls get what you want and meet at the cash register." Squeak, Elithabeth, and Lily nodded and went off to get some stuff. How come we couldn't find Mila Jack wondered but then went on with shopping.
Squeaks looked up at the pretzels and said "Hey Eli can you help me reach this?" She looked back and saw that Elithabeth wasn't there. Everything darkened and she saw the figure again. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" Squeaks screamed. She opens her eyes and sees her Aunt Lily, staring at her with shock. Lily asked "Squeaks are you ok?" Squeaks nodded. Squeaks and Lily met up with Jacks and Elithabeth and then they went to the cashier. Once they got there the cashier started checking out their stuff but then stopped and said "I have no idea what I'm even doing." Jack stood there then gave her $50 then left with his family. But just then, Squeaks disappeared.
