Who knew that the day I saw you at the library would change my whole life forever?

You were sitting alone in one corner, looking lonely while reading but it just seems like you're enjoying your alone time.

"Hey." I said. I sat down beside you on the floor. I thought you would look at some weird way but I was wrong, you gave me a smile. Oh how it was the sweetest thing I've ever seen.

"What are you reading?" I asked.

"Oh," you chuckled. "I don't really know, I just randomly picked it out from the shelves but I guess it's a love story between two girls who met at the library."

I looked at it and furrowed my brows. Oh how strange, is this story about to come true?

"Hmm, I see." I nodded.

"I'm Elle by the way." You offered me your hand to shake. "I'm Jennifer. Just call me Jen for short."

We talked for hours and hours until one of us noticed that the library was about to close as it was getting late.

"So, good night I guess?" I spoke as we reach the exit.

"Mhm, it was really nice meeting you, Jen. Good night." You sent me a smile. Gosh, there it is again.
We bid our goodbyes as we started to walk away from each other. But something was stopping me from letting you go.

"Elle! Wait!" I yelled out. You turned your back around, looking at me confused. "Yeah? What is it?"

"Not to be weird but.. do you mind if I walk you home? I mean, I'm just worried and its nighttime and—"

You cut me off and said, "No. I don't mind, sure." You walked back to me and took my hand to hold.

Oh you can tell how nervous I was for some reason.

And as we were walking, you linked your arms with mine. God, I wish we could stay like this forever.

"So you're always at the library?" I asked.

"Yeah. I like it there. It really calms me and my thoughts down. You go there too?"

"Not all the time but yeah, I do go there."

Oh I will definitely go there now. Everyday.

We walked in silence after that. Who knew that a loud silence would be so calming? Or maybe because I was only with you? Alone with you.

We finally reached your home. You let go of my arms, I felt empty again. Why? Oh come on, Jen. You like her. Don't even deny it. Thoughts. Ugh, they're speaking again. Obviously, I don't like her like that, right? I mean, I just met her and—

"Jen? Are you okay?" Oh thank you for taking me out of my head. "You're spacing out."

"Oh, yeah, yeah, sorry. I'm fine." I smiled while nodding. "I'll see you tomorrow then? At the library?"

"Sure, same spot." You smiled at me again. Oh my gosh, I'm melting. You went to the door, looking back at me again with a smile before going inside.

"Good night."

So... I'm alive.? Hellour I'm back after for so long ^^
