Noahs hands dipped lightly into the holy water. The cold water felt already pure on him as he pressed the tips of his pointer and middle finger on his body through the sign of the cross before feeling welcomed in the morning sunday mass.

Quinn quickly followed the same pattern, walking side by side of Noah. Standing tall as his blue eyes glanced at the white cross in the center of the church as he softly tapped the water and made a cross, even if he didn't feel the same about church than Noah. Quinn didn't mind all too much to participate with Noah.

He liked seeing Noah in peace. And he knew Noah liked when Quinn was by his side. Sharing something he's so passionate about. There was no toxic moment about their beliefs. Making it a moment of appreciation on each others personal life

They both dress nicely, head to toe. Noah wore black jeans, with a dark navy button up long sleeves. His hair was nicely groomed, even taking out his piercings before entering Gods home. He made sure his clothes weren't wrinkled, and always left the house with a special rosary he had received for his first communion when he was younger.
His grandparents went to the holy land, and had the pope bless the rosary when he visited. He always had it on him. Especially at church.

Noah stopped for a moment before twisting his head, before his dark eyes caught two waves from the oak pews.

'This definitely wont be weird'. Quinn thought as he looked at Noahs parents.

They looked like such a happy couple, beloved everyone in the church. Does everyone know? Or is it just a family secret? Does the priest know? Those the people from the wedding know?

The pair kept walking towards Noahs parents as they smiled at the two- well, Rachel was, David was already turned towards the alter, waiting for mass to start.

"Hey". He whispered to his parents while David and Rachel moved over to fit Noah and Quinn. "Hey, what took you guys so long?". Noahs mom asked. "Quinn woke up late". Noah softly chuckled making Quinn groan in embarrassment. "Happens to the best of us". Rachel pat Quinns leg over Noahs, who was between them before retracting.

"We are going to get breakfast after this, you two want to join?". Rachel looked at them. Noah, of course looked at Quinn. "Yeah, we will join". Quinn nodded politely. "Great!". She smiled brightly.

Mass went by pretty fast. Faster than most times, despite the long homily, Quinn was pretty much daydreaming the whole thing. Church and God wasn't really his scene. But he can stand it for a hour and a half for Noah, shit, if it was 24, Quinn would still do it for Noah.

He was very guilty on how much he loved Noah. Quinn really wonders if he knew that though.

The mass finished up when Quinn opened his eyes, hearing many voices echo in the breath taking worship home. He was exhausted, and he just wanted to sleep now.

"Can I come over to your place?". The only time Quinn could be with Noah for mass is when his parents were out of town. "Mhm". Noah hummed quickly, already was going to plan to ask Quinn that.

Quinn really couldn't imagine coming home tired, just to meat with loud angry parents, trying to get a drop of beer before eating frozen breakfast burritos.

Noah got caught talking to people while Quinn was still in the pew, scrolling on his phone while waiting for the family to call it a day in the church. But knowing them, it will take half a hour before they even start talking about leaving. It was a drag sometimes.

When Quinn is in a deep state in his mind, it's harder to face the cross, even the church sometimes. And most times he puts on a straight face, walking in the church like nothing the night bothered him. While other times, he could get out of bed.
