Chap 14:Still in Love with You

Nov, 5th 2008:

It's a Wednesday afternoon around three o' clock and I had just finished my day at school. Some of the students; Freshmen, Sophomores and Seniors had to take different tests to pass for the next grade level. My class had finished and there were no classes, just find a classroom and watched movies.

There I was waiting outside by the carpool area until I heard my friends voice behind me.

"Hey, Laura. What's up?" Ali asks me.

"Oh, nothing. I'm waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up." I tell her.

"Does he go to school in Florida?" She smiles.

"Not exactly but, very close to that. He kinda has a job and very busy."

"You have a boyfriend?" A guy friend asked, shocked.

"Yes, I do. He should be here soon, so I'm not stuck here for aftercare." I make a fake gaging sound and they laugh.

I heard my name shout across the property, I turn and found Nick's car parked on the back side of the parking lot. I wave back at him and I turn back to my friends. They all stare at me in disbelief that I knew Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers.

"You... you... you.... are.. are...." They didn't know what to say.

"Yes, I am dating a famous person, if that's what you're trying to say." I smirk. "See you guys after Thanksgiving. Bye." I walk out into the parking lot and stood in front of Nick's car. 'Hey, babe." I smile at him.

"Hey, beautiful!" His kiss on my check. "How was school?"

"You're not my mom. And it was okay. My friends saw you from the other side of the lot. Look." I turn and they all were still staring in our direction.

"Oh. They will get over it through time." He tells me.

Nicholas opens the door for me and I slid into the passenger's seat. "Thanks, babe." I said as he closed the door on me.

He gets into the driver's seat and we head off to the rent house to pack for our Thanksgiving in Los Angles. Christina was asked by Kevin to come out and spend some time with the family. She didn't really have much to do and she thought it was fine. Maya came along, of course we wouldn't go anywhere without her. Joe told us he was bringing Tess with him and she was staying with us. Great! The girl who shouldn't take Joseph away from one girlfriend. No, actually, Natalie did that to herself. Tess shouldn't come to Los Angles and Christina thinks Tess is cheating behind Joe, which won't be good for him once he finds out. If I think that's happening, then why would Tess try to cheat behind Joe's back. We finally make it to the rent house, we walked in and start packing before we had to leave to go to the airport.

Nov 6th:

We all leave and get to the airport, boarded the plane and it took off to LA. By the the late evening, we get to the family house and settle into our rooms. Nick takes me to the backyard and we sit in the swing that set under the trees. The stars were beautiful and it felt like I could reach out to touch them. Nicholas' arm around my shoulders and I was in love with him.

"You know I love you, don't you?" He tells me.

"Yes, I do. I love you too, Nick." We kiss under the stars.

The next afternoon, it was time for lunch and somehow I wasn't feeling very hungry. I had to tell Mama Jonas if it was okay if I didn't eat. Nicholas and I walk downstairs to the kitchen and the family was halfway finished with setting up the table.
