***"You're right. I probably should talk to her. But I don't know what to say... She's so mad at me right now, and I can't blame her." Ranma said.
Genma smirks, enjoying himself thoroughly.
"That's true. She's probably furious, and she has every right to be. After all, you're the one who made a promise to go on a date with Shampoo, even though you knew it would upset Akane. Seems like you've painted yourself into a corner, boy." Gemma said.
Soun nods, a hint of sympathy in his voice.
"Genma's right, Ranma. It's a tough predicament you've put yourself in. But maybe you should still talk to Akane, try to explain things to her. Who knows, maybe she'll be a little more understanding than you think." Soun says.
Ranma sighs again, taking their advice to heart. He knows he can't ignore the situation forever, especially not when Akane is involved.
"Alright, I'll talk to her. I have to at least try to explain things. I just hope she'll listen to me without immediately throwing something at my head." Ranma said.
Genma and Soun both chuckle at Ranma's last comment.
"Ha! That's a distinct possibility, boy. You know how quick Akane's temper can flare up, especially when it comes to things like this. You'd better wear a helmet just in case." Genma said.
Ranma rolls his eyes, knowing that Genma's teasing is probably a bit accurate.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Believe me, I've had plenty of experience with her throwing stuff at me. Hopefully, I can dodge her projectiles long enough to get a few words in." Ranma said.
Genma grins, enjoying the thought of Ranma dodging Akane's flying projectiles.
"Good luck with that, boy. If I were you, I'd start practicing my dodgeball skills. You're gonna need them when you face Akane." Genma said.
Ranma groans, not looking forward to the barrage of objects that might be thrown at him.
"Thanks for the confidence-inspiring words. I'll keep that in mind as I try to have a civil conversation with her." Ranma said.
Ranma rises from his seat, determination in his eyes.
"Alright, I'm going up there to talk to her. Wish me luck, guys. I have a feeling I'll need it." Ranma says.
Genma and Soun both grin, knowing that the odds are likely stacked against Ranma in this situation.
"Good luck, boy. You're gonna need it if you don't want to end up with a new collection of bumps and bruises." Genma said.
Ranma shoots a sarcastic look at Genma and Soun before heading upstairs towards Akane's room. As he walks, he takes a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for the difficult conversation ahead.
Cautiously, he enters the room, taking a few steps inside. The room is dimly lit, the curtains partially closed, casting shadows across the space.
"Akane?" Ranma calls out again.
There's no response, causing Ranma's worry to grow. He glances around the room, searching for any sign of Akane. He notices a lump under the blankets on her bed, and hesitantly walks closer.
With a hint of concern, Ranma quietly calls out, his voice soft.
"Akane, are you there?" Ranma reaches the edge of the bed, his hand hovering over the blankets where he suspects Akane's form to be.
Tentatively, he gently pulls back the covers, fully expecting Akane to spring up and start shouting at him. But to his surprise, the bed beneath the blankets is empty. Akane is nowhere to be found.
Confusion and worry fill Ranma's thoughts as he surveys the room, searching for any sign of Akane's whereabouts. His eyes dart around the room, taking in every corner and piece of furniture. But there's no sign of her. He feels a sense of growing unease.
"Akane? Where the hell did you go?" Ranma whispered.
Ranma looks around the room once more, his anxiety growing. Where could she have gone? Why didn't she answer him? Did she intentionally leave to avoid him? He doesn't know what to think.
Ranma continues to search the room, checking every possible hiding spot he can think of. He looks under the bed, peering into the closet, and even checks the bathroom attached to her bedroom. But there's no sign of her anywhere.
Frustration and concern mix within Ranma as he stands in the middle of Akane's room, feeling helplessness wash over him.
"Damn it, where are you, Akane? What the hell is going on?" Ranma says.
Suddenly, Ranma hears a noise coming from outside, a rustling sound and then a soft thump.
Ranma immediately perks up, his attention drawn by the noise coming from outside. He quickly moves towards the window, his expression alert and curious.
Ranma pushes aside the curtains, peering out through the glass. His eyes widen as he sees a familiar figure darting out of sight, disappearing behind a nearby building. It was unmistakable. It was Akane.
Ranma's eyes narrow, recognizing Akane's form in the distance. His confusion turns to determination as he realized she was outside.
"What the hell is she doing out there?" Ranma whispered.
Without a moment's hesitation, Ranma turns and heads for the door, intending to find out.
Ranma quickly descends the stairs, his mind filled with questions. As he reaches the bottom, Genma and Soun, sensing the seriousness in his demeanor, look up from the living room.
Genma raises an eyebrow, noticing the urgency in Ranma's expression.
"Ranma, what's going on? You look like you've seen a ghost." Genma said.
Ranma's focus is solely on the front door, his voice tight with urgency.
"It's Akane. She's outside. I saw her sneaking around. I'm gonna go after her and find out what's going on." Ranma said.
Soun's eyes widen with surprise, concern etched on his face.
"Akane?! What's she doing outside this late at night? You better go after her, Ranma. Make sure she's alright!" Soun said.
Ranma nods, already moving towards the front door.
"I'm on it. I'll find her and make sure she's okay! With that, Ranma quickly opens the door and steps outside, the night air chilled against his skin.
