In the Singhal family manor

"Ugh, get a room, guys. You are making me feel sick and trapped," Anirudh said, giving his older sister, Tanvi, and brother-in-law, Shekhar, a look of annoyance and disgust.

Tanvi and Shekhar were snuggled up on the living room couch, with Tanvi engrossed in a document and Shekhar flipping through TV channels, holding Tanvi close with his arms around her waist. Both of them were completely absorbed in their own worlds. Anirudh's voice interrupted the couple. Tanvi put her file down, adjusting her glasses on the bridge of her nose, while giving her brother a slightly amused look. However, Shekhar didn't reflect her expression at all; he looked anything but amused. He glanced at Anirudh and gave him a suspicious look. "So, why don't you just find yourself a wife?" Shekhar fired back.

With work taking up most of his time, Shekhar already didn't get to spend quality time with Tanvi. Now, on the weekend, all he wanted was to chill and hang out with his wife. However, his father-in-law went ahead and invited the entire family over for dinner, which really annoyed him.

"Because I have so many other things to focus on in my career," Anirudh scoffed, waving his hand dismissively.

"Trust me, dude, real life only begins once the hectic workday is over. Unless you're dragged into the family dinners," Shekhar replied promptly.

"Then stop showing up every weekend and hanging out at the same place." Anirudh whispered under his breath.

Shekhar quickly sat up, running his hand across his face. "Tanvi, I'm tired of these family dinners trying to persuade this stubborn person. But he is not wrong. Why don't we plan a nice weekend getaway, baby?" He asked, and the remarkable shift in his attorney brother-in-law's tone made Anirudh curse him.

"I'm sick of your PDA," Anirudh whispered.

Clearly unhappy with Anirudh's answer, Tanvi scowled at him and then at her husband. "Enough with the arguing, you two." Tanvi intervened, putting an end to this immature squabble. She then turned to Anirudh and kindly suggested, "I believe you should speak to dad."

Rubbing his hands over his face, Anirudh was prepared to respond to Tanvi when Shekhar got there first. "I hope it leads to some results this time. Amen!"

"Seriously, Jijz, please stop talking." Anirudh let out a low growl, shooting a fierce look at his brother-in-law before shifting his gaze to Tanvi with a more gentle expression. "Where is he now? How's his mood?"

"It's 10:30, bro. He should be in his room by now. While one may not be preoccupied with significant personal matters at the moment, it is most certainly not cool to interrupt individuals after they have departed. But he's been waiting for you, so you better go and meet him." Tanvi replied. "Stay confident, no matter what. Keep calm, don't stress, and don't let him stress himself out. It won't be as bad as you think, and everything will be okay." That was something Anirudh really appreciated about Tanvi. She can effortlessly soothe even the most intense flames of fury.

"Can you give me any hints before I meet him?" Anirudh asked.

"Nada! Shoo now." Shekhar grinned, pulling Tanvi back into his arms.

"Ever since you and Diksha made the decision to tie the knot, these guys in your lives have had a major impact on you. You don't act like my sisters anymore." Anirudh responded defiantly, scowling at his brother-in-law.

"What?" Shekhar asked, surprised at Anirudh's statement. Tanvi's face twisted too at Shekhar's question as well.

"What what? Damn right, I am! These sisters used to be my rock; they always had my back, and now they are drowning in your sloppy kisses and excessive PDA." Tanvi and Diksha were laughing while their husbands and Anirudh were totally killing it in their staring contest.
