Recap:

"Well, look what we have here." a familiar voice said with their back to me. "America, you don't know how long I have been waiting to have a long conversation. Well if you count a conversation full of you crying out in pain. Then they turned around and I almost fainted in shock.

"Celeste..."

---------------------------------------------------------------

"What... how..." I didn't know what to say.

"Cat got your tongue, honey?" She smiled evilly. "Well let me help you with that. How about I rip out your tongue for you so you don't even have to worry about speaking."

I gulped down my fear determined to not be scared.

"Charles, you and your men can leave. I got this from here. I would like to talk to Miss America personally. I will bring her down to her cell when I am done."

Who I assumed was Charles grunted and him and the rest left leaving me alone with Celeste.

She turned around and locked the door behind them. Then ran over to me. I braced myself for what I was sure would be torture but instead was something I never expected. She unlocked me from my chains.

I looked her in shock and she stared me right back in the eyes.

"America, you have to trust me. I know you don't like me, but you have to trust me if you want to get out of here alive. There isn't much time but you HAVE to trust me."

I slowly nodded not completely sure if she was just messing with me or not. She then handed me a pair of keys.

"Okay at the end of the hall there is a door. The guards change shifts in an hour so for three minutes, if we are lucky, there will be only one guard in the hallway. If something happens and we do run into more guards and I am not able to take them out right away, you run straight to the door and take a left, right, then left again, and then go straight until you come to another door that leads to stairs. Climb the stairs all the way up to the roof. There should be a helicopter from the palace coming for us. If I don't make it up there by the time it comes, go with out me."

I nodded and stood up. "Why... why are you helping me?"

"She glanced back at me as she sat down by the door. "Well, I can't have my future queen dying, now can I?"

"Are you really apart of the selection?"

She sighed. "Well I guess we have an hour where I can explain myself. You see, I am a spy for the king. I have been spying on the rebels for years. When the selection came up, they got the idea to use someone from the inside to make sure I got in so that I could win and become queen. Then I would easily be able to kill the whole royal family."

"So why where you so mean to everybody?"

"I was testing everyone to see who I thought was fit to be queen. I knew if this kingdom had the chance of healing itself, it would need a strong, determined queen to help lead it. Based on how you responded to me and how you act, I knew you were the perfect fit. So when I heard the rebels had captured you, I asked my "leader" if I could come back so I could kill you myself because I hated you so much. He bought it, it is no secret I am his favorite, so here I am saving my future queen's butt."

"Wow, I would have never guessed."

Celeste laughed. "I am a really good actor so I am a naturally a good spy.

We talked for awhile and I got to know the real her. If I had known the real her, we could have been friends.

Celeste glanced down at her watch. "Okay, time to put this plan into action. You ready?"

I looked at the women who I had completely judged wrongly. "Yeah, I am ready."

"Well let's hope we are lucky and actually get out of here alive! Wait for me to take out the guard and say that it is safe." She then slipped out the door. I flinched at the sounds of punching and the blood drained from my face as I heard an alarm start to sound.

Celeste entered the room and pulled me out while quickly starting to run. "We have to go quickly. I didn't knock the guard out before he sounded the alarm. Soon these halls will be swarming with guards. We ran down the halls and took a couple of turns before we finally got to the last hall that lead to the door to the roof when we ran into five guards blocking our way.

"Crap," Celeste muttered. "America listen to me. You see that door to the left of us? I leads down to the basement where the prison cells are. Go all the way through the basement and there is a tiny door hidden behind a painting at the end of the hall. Go through the door and crawl towards the light. At the end of it, there is another door to the woods. Once you get out, run and hide. If you go south, you should soon get to a village. I will try to take out as many guards here as I can to stop them from following you. You may have to shoot some to get out.

She handed a gun to me. "Don't hesitant. GO!"

I immediately turned around and went through the door that she told me to. The door closed behind me and I was surrounded by darkness left to fend for myself.

Hey guys! So I hope you liked it. Anyway, I just wanted to apologize for how I haven't updated for a long time again. I had writers block and I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with this story. Anyway, I want to know if you guys have any ideas on what you think should happen next or just ideas on anything. So if you could comment any, that would be great. Also, I may not update for a little bit again. I am going to majorly edit the previous chapters and probably even this one.

Question: Do you guys like Celeste's character change?

Love you all!
