People swarmed into my room. And I knew they weren't friendly. One grabbed me by the shoulders and pushes me down.
"Tie her up!" he shouted grumpily at everyone. "Blindfold her too"

I tried to shout scream, kick, even bite, but I couldn't escape.

"Well, well, well if it isn't the futer queen," a man sneered at me. Then before I knew it I was surronded by darkness.

----------------------------------------------------------

I goaned and rolled over. There was pain over every inch of my body. When I finally opened my eyes, I was met with the scene of a jail cell. I tried to stand of but failed; so I slowly inched my body to the edge of the jail cell where I could barley make out voices.

"We have to kill her! It is the only way we can get revenge on Maxon. We would record it and deliver it to him. Then we could deliver the video and when the kingdom is in devestation we attack."

"Yes, I agree." a deep voice said, "But I believe we should torture her first. We could deliver a video to the prince everyday with her getting tortered closer and closer to death."

Then before I could here anymore, I heard a soft voice come out from the dark corner of my cell.

"America, you are so young and beautiful," Then an old woman crept out of the corner. She had dark circles under her eyes, she bruses and scars covering her body, she was hunched over, and she had blood staining her white long hair. I gasped when I saw her. Then she continued.

"I have been here for years, my child, and yet they still haven't given me the peace of death. I have been tortured and beat while my soul has shattered into a million pieces. I was once as beutiful as you, a young girl who entered the selection. I came close to winning, too. But the queen beat me. Now, my family is dead and I have spent decades in this cell because I entered a stupid contest. I have hoped for a rescuer for years before I finally realized the truth. No one will come. No one will save you. You need to be happy that you don't have to live out your years here and accept death. I wish I could be as lucky as you." Then she inched back into her corner and didn't say anything else.

I wanted to argue with her, tell her she was wrong, but a part of me knew she was right. I would never escape.

-----------------

Hours passed before someone finally opened the door. I hoped that they had brought food, but I wasn't that lucky. Instead, they grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me out roughly, but I didn't fight I knew it was hopeless.

They dragged me into a room and through me to the ground. I cried out in pain and then heard laughing.

"Well, look what we have here." a familar voice said with their back to me. "America, you don't know how long I have been waiting to have a long conversation. Well if you count a conversation full of you crying out in pain. Then they turned around and I almost fainted in shock.

"Celeste..."
