Ed slides into the bed and under the covers.I feel quite awkward. There is so much space between Ed and I.
Ed rolls over and props himself up on one elbow and looks at me.
"Are you excited to be here in Suffolk?" He asks
"Yes I am. it looks like such a nice place." I say
Ed shifts closer to me..
"Are you thinking of finding a job or are you going to go to a university?"
I'm not sure if I should back up or move forward so I just stay in place.
"Well I hated highschool, so I think im just going to find a job. Hey Ed, I never asked this question but how old are you?
Ed chuckles to himself, "I'm 24." he says, "and you are?"
"I'm 19. Also if you don't mind answering this, how did you afford these beautiful houses and my medical expenses?"
Ed gives me a smile and says, "I'd like to keep that a secret at the moment, I'll surprise you with what I am another time love. now let's go to sleep"
Now I'm nervous, why won't he tell me what he does for a living? What can he be doing at 24 and have all this money?
Not going to lie I'm very confused for I roll over away from Ed.
To my surprise Ed wraps his arm around me. when I stay put and don't move his lets out a noise and I guarantee he is smiling right now.
I feel like a spark was just ignited inside of my body. once again I roll over so now I am facing Ed. I bury my face into his chest as he wraps his other arm around me. I love him, I love him so much. if it was not Ed who had found me I don't know where I would be right now.
I squeeze my eyes tightly shut and drift off into a deep sleep.
