The early morning light trickled into Dahyun's dorm room, where he sat, staring out the window, lost in thought. It had been three nights of the same dream, and he was starting to feel haunted. There she was every night—the girl with the serene smile and kind eyes. He didn't know who she was or why she kept showing up in his sleep, but she felt... important.

Kotone, Dahyun's best friend, lay sprawled on the couch, scrolling through his phone and sipping what seemed to be yesterday's cold coffee. Noticing Dahyun's glazed-over expression, Kotone finally couldn't hold back his curiosity.

"Alright, what's your problem?" Kotone asked, not bothering to look up.

Dahyun snapped back to reality, blinking. "What? Nothing."

Kotone snorted. "Dude, you've been sighing like someone stole your puppy. Spill it."

Dahyun scratched the back of his neck. "It's... a dream. About a girl."

Kotone put his coffee down, smirking. "A girl in your dreams? Oh, this is rich. Let me guess, she's your 'soulmate,' some heavenly goddess you're destined to meet?"

"Well... she kind of feels like that, actually," Dahyun admitted, a bit embarrassed. "She's beautiful—like, unreal beautiful. She doesn't say anything, just looks at me like she's... I don't know, watching over me."

"Oh, wow, now you're talking about guardian angels." Kotone looked like he was ready to burst out laughing.

"Next thing I know, you'll be holding a press conference, announcing that you're getting married to 'Dream Girl.'"

Dahyun threw a pillow at him. "I'm serious! I've never had dreams like this before. It's like... she's waiting for something."

"Dude, you've just been watching too many late-night dramas," Kotone teased, catching the pillow mid-air and tossing it back at Dahyun.

"I mean, does she at least have a name? Maybe some super-epic, mysterious name like 'Celestia' or 'Dreamonia'?"

Dahyun chuckled despite himself. "No, I don't know her name. She's just... there. Every night, same time, same dream."

Kotone leaned back, shrugging. "Well, if this dream girl is meant to be, maybe you'll run into her in real life. Stranger things have happened. Or you could... just get a girlfriend in the meantime?"

Dahyun sighed, feeling both amused and reassured by Kotone's laid-back attitude.

"Thanks for the sage advice, Dr. Kotone."

"Hey, anytime." Kotone winked, picking up his phone again. "But if she does show up in real life, I demand every juicy detail. Until then, maybe try, you know, dreaming of something more realistic. Like pizza."

They both laughed, and for a moment, Dahyun felt lighter. But as he glanced back at the window, he couldn't help but wonder if, just maybe, the girl in his dreams was somewhere out there, waiting for him too.
