Y/n's POV
With Aaron I see Ricky along with the peole who played the Duke and Nini. Tam and Robyn if I remember correctly.
"So everyone, this is Y/n," Aaron almost yells standing up to meet me at my level before once again sitting down on the grass before pointing to everyone. "This is Ricky who you met the other night, Tam and Robyn."
"Hey guys, it's nice to meet you." I say through a forced smile, not because I don't want to be there, but I don't want to screw this up. "I came to watch you all the other night and you guys are amazing. It was so amazing to watch."
"Thanks, we try," Tam says giving a simple smile.
"It's always nice to hear," Robyn grins as she reaches for a bag of chips in the seeming cornucopia of food found between them all. "Want some chips?"
Out of instinct, your body seems to tense. Luckily Ricky and Tam were bickering with one another, Robyn looking at the bag rather than at you, but you feel Aaron's eyes on you still.
He shoots you a worried look, one eyebrow slightly raised.
"I'm alright thank you." I say politely, trying to shug Aaron's gaze off.
The tension is quickly diverted as Tam begins to raise his voice at Ricky. Not in a mean way, but in the way an older brother would in order to command attention.
"Would you just shut up Ricky, you are full of shit and you know it." Throwing a fist full of grass in his direction.
In response Ricky only seemed to laugh harder.
I see why Aaron thought this would be low stakes. They really are all just a couple of goofballs.
"Anyway, Y/n. How did you and Aaron meet? He isn't one to just walk out onto the street and make a new friend," Robyn asks brining the attention back to me.
"Well I was getting coffee and had forgotten my card so I couldn't pay, and then Aaron stepped in and paid for it for me." I say looking back at Aaron whose look had softened, but not back to the goofy smile I was expecting. "He really saved me."
"Aww, that's our A-aron for you. Too good for his own good." Ricky interjects.
"Ignore him." Robyn states waving him away. "It's good, we love Aaron, but he does need some normal people friends every now and then plus he seems to really like you if he invited you to hang out with us. Or really hate you."
"I'm glad I could come. You lot seem like a great bunch." I smile hesitantly.
==========
After hours of talking, Robyn having had left 30 minutes ago leaving Tam and Ricky having just said good bye leaving just Aaron and yourself.
You decide that as the conversation began to naturally die down, you decide that it is a good time for you to dismiss yourself and head home.
"Well, it's been great hanging out with you," you say begining to stand up. "I should get going..." being cut off by the dizying feeling that began to consume me as I stood. Loosing my vision, blinking hard to try and regain it.
