Author POV,

Viraj was heading toward his car.

Shweta Bhabhi came running from behind and caught up with him.

"Stop it, Viraj," she said, and Viraj turned to look at her.

"What did you do with that girl? Do you know her already? And what exactly do you know about her that made you speak that way? Because what you did wasn't right."

Viraj had reached his car by now and opened the driver's door. Looking directly into Shweta Bhabhi's eyes, he said, "What I did was my choice. Whether I know that girl or not is up to me. Don't worry, I didn't do anything wrong to her. I only did what she deserves. Maybe you'd have done the same."

Shweta Bhabhi shook her head. "I wouldn't have done that, but what about Grandfather? What will you say to him, huh?"

She asked with concern, and Viraj took a deep breath.

"We'll see. I don't think about what's ahead because the future is already fixed, right? So why waste time thinking about it? What's meant to happen will happen in its time, don't you think?"

Viraj said, and Shweta Bhabhi smiled faintly.

He put on his glasses, sat in the driver's seat, and, while closing the door, said to her, "I'm going to meet my friend. Wait for me. You all head back to Mumbai; I still have work here. Bye."

Shweta Bhabhi nodded, and Viraj drove his car out of the villa.

He sped through the streets of Indore until he finally stopped in front of a large office building.

This office was the Indore branch of VR Industries. The guard stood up instantly upon seeing Viraj and greeted him with a "Good morning."

Viraj handed him his car keys and walked directly into the office.

Here, everyone knew Mayur Sehgal as the owner, not Viraj. Mayur was Viraj's childhood friend and business partner, the only one with whom he shared things he wouldn't tell anyone else.

Mayur had returned from London just a year ago and had joined Viraj as a business partner. Though he was based in Mumbai, he was currently in Indore for some personal work, and Viraj was here to see him.

Viraj took the elevator to the top floor and walked toward Mayur's cabin.

He opened the cabin door, and Mayur, who was busy on a phone call, saw him and stood up, happy.

"So, you finally showed up. I was waiting for you," he said, embracing Viraj.

"Why, did you have to go somewhere? Anyway, you hardly stay put these days," Viraj replied with a shake of his head.

"Man, I really missed hearing that line of yours over the past month. It always makes me feel like I have a mother."

Mayur laughed, and they both sat down on the sofa in the cabin.

Mayur ordered two coffees over the intercom. Then, placing a hand on Viraj's shoulder, he said, "So, how did you like the girl? Do you approve of her? And tell me, when's the wedding?"

Mayur teased Viraj, who instantly shrugged his hand off his shoulder.

"Stop joking around and don't spoil my mood. You know very well who that girl is and what I must have done with her."

"So, what did you do with her? It sounds interesting. Come on, tell me. Did you tell everyone that...?"

Mayur asked, and Viraj shook his head.

"No, I haven't told anyone anything yet. I don't want my Bhabhi to be hurt because of my brother's stupid step. She's a good person, and maybe she doesn't even deserve him. But he is my brother, unfortunately, my own blood.. My biological brother... "
