1100 years ago. In the tall mountains of the Scotland tribes, Scotland.
A man walks quickly in between the crowd of people celebrating the harvest festival, a date that indicates abundance for all the hard work done for the year before the arrival of winter.
This man, wearing a black hood and armor of steel and leather plates, walked with his hands tied while being dragged by a charming girl who, at first glance, looked to be very happy.
Behind them some steps in the back, 3 guys were trying to catch up while complaining loudly.
It was a pleasant day full of music from bards and musicians playing to the public while everyone danced and laughed with eagerness.
Silly games and embarrassing dares were all that could be seen on the street as the hooded man was subjected to that position even though it didn't bother him.
By night time everyone had gathered in a special place where men and women, wizards, and witches shared happy stories, songs, food, and drinks.
As the moon reached its highest point many started falling tired, exhausted from so much partying. Amongst them were the 3 friends who had been forced to sleep in a stable after fighting over which one had the biggest one.
While others in a more discreet manner than usual started escaping to different places, far away from prying eyes. Some of them went to the forest in pairs and others simply searched for a remote and dark place.
Inside a cabin after spending hours dancing under the moonlight and the bonfire 2 people were about to share a special moment.
Ariel, the hooded wizard, was naked with his toned body forged by his training exposed to a look of wonder at the sight before him.
A girl timidly undressed slowly in front of Ariel. She was blushing profusely as she tried to continue with her intentions and was grateful to her mother for teaching her time ago some seduction techniques that had worked wonderfully.
- "You look beautiful Miss Ravenclaw."-
Present times
Ariel had arrived at platform 9-¾ and was a little amazed by the good use of spatial magic they had done with such an area so frequented by the non-magic holders like the Kings Cross station. It reminded him of his days in the United States when he traveled.
Ariel looked at the many boys and girls arriving with their parents while other guys presumably older graders also arrived.
Ariel boarded one of the train carts and was a little amazed by the difference between the memories he had.
If he remembered correctly the carts in the movie were really narrow just like the compartments but now they were a little bigger from what he remembered.
Moving through the carriages Ariel looked for an empty and good-looking compartment. He knew the trip would be long, approximately 2 days. This was due because of the treaty between wizards and non-magicians had to divide their territories to prevent major problems that could not be solved with the erasing of memories, a magic spell strongly controlled by the ministers of each nation.
The last magic war on a global scale had been a true disaster. The wizards and witches had been revealed in the First World War causing a much greater number of deaths than they registered in his last life. 120 million people died and to prevent the hunting of witches like in the past they had to reduce the number to 87 million hiding and erasing the memories of many people.
A little before World War II the first magic war on a similar scale blew out with the rise of the dark lord Gellert Grindelwald. A french dark wizard that was against him. A consequence of having to hide inside a cowardly magical society.
While wizards had a lot of time in existence the majority had caused lots of problems and abused their powers causing pain and misery. The witch hunts had originated in part because of their differences with non-magic users who were jealous of their incredible powers and had tried owning their strength and by the wizards refusing they had been condemned to a constant persecution.
Ariel found an empty and well-kept compartment. It was spacious and enough space enough to hold a small party between friends, some comfortable sofas that could be placed as beds and a view to the exterior wide enough with a seat close to it Ariel decided it was a good place to stay and started getting comfortable in it. He took a compartment for his trunk and taking his book of history out sat down and settled by the window in full view of anyone who looked up to see.
A little after entering 2 girls appeared in the compartment and after seeing the guy absorbed in his reading they wondered who he was.
-"Excuse us."-
One of them with a cold gaze and serious personality stepped forward to confront him.
-"Excuse me."-
When she didn't get a response the first time she tried a second time but again she was not heard.
-"EXCUSE ME!!!"-
The usually indifferent face had broken for a second by her anger. It was the first time she was mad because a guy hadn't heard her a very unusual occurrence Ariel finally paid attention to his 2 new guests.
-"Oh. Good day, ladies."-
With a small bow, Ariel greeted them and continued on with his reading once again ignoring the presence of his 2 new companions.
-"Excuse us but this is our compartment so please leave."-
The blonde girl said in a neutral serious tone as if her words were law.
Turning around and acting as if the matter was settled the blonde girl returned to minding her own business.
-"....eh ... Dahne .."-
The blond known as Dahne looked at her friend who had a forced smile.
Dahne without knowing what had happened minutes before between them saw the guy that had talked with her sleeping on the window.
- "Oh, I can't believe it!!"-
Her annoyance was notable in her voice.
