Nayeon pressed a kiss onto Taehyun's cheek.

"Good night."

"Night night."

Taehyun snuggled into his blankets, hugging his R2-D2 plushie tightly.

"See you. Get home safely."

"I will Taehyun."

Nayeon smiled at him, before making her way out.

She stepped outside of the room, closing the door behind her, and was about to leave when she bumped against somebody.

"Oh, sorry!"

"My apologies!"

Soobin quickly bowed to her.

"I didn't expect somebody to be in there."

"That's alright..."

Nayeon scanned the male before her. He was quite tall, his black fridge seemed a little damp, and his face was flushed red.

Granted, it was quite humid out in the hallway, however—

"You look like you could use some sleep," Nayeon laughed.

"Huh? Oh."

Soobin ran a hand through his hair, rubbing at his tired eyes.

"It's my first day on the job. I kept running around because my patient kept demanding me to get things, only for me to go on a witch-hunt."

"Oh."

Nayeon already had a suspicion who that patient was.

"Who would that be?" she asked anyway.

Soobin pointed at the door behind her.

"The one right there."

So he really is Taehyun's nurse...

Deciding it would be best to approach him in a friendly manner, Nayeon gave him an enthusiastic smile.

"So you must be Soobin!"

Soobin looked surprised.

"How do you know my name?"

Nayeon extended her hand.

"My name is Im Nayeon. I'm Taehyun's guardian."

Soobin mentally frowned.

Guardian?

Nevertheless, he politely shook her hand.

"A pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise."

Nayeon glanced at the clock.

"It's not very late yet. Would you like me to get you something to drink?"
