His 1st few days at Elemental Equanimity was GREAT! He made new friends and found out that he along with others happens to have light elemental powers at their fingertips. He had the time of his life at 1st.
But as the days turned into weeks, Eliot began to notice a darker undercurrent to the club's activities. The games and lessons grew more competitive, the stakes higher.
Eliot soon asked Alastor "What is going on?!?! I thought this was Elemental Equanimity and this thing with all of these stealing from the poor, trying to get my to kill a dog to getting more people and see only a few get out and quit! What's going on here, I need to know!"
Alastor spoke of a world where those with power could dictate the fate of the weak, and the whispers grew louder of a school regime that needed to be toppled. The leader's charisma was undeniable, and his vision of a new order, one where the elementalists ruled, began to seduce some of the more ambitious members.
Alastor soon finished his monolouge with "..with the power some people have they somethings do good things but most people turn you into the dark side and it's a piece of cake.
Eliot felt the tug of temptation, the allure of being part of something larger than himself, especially when faced with the school's rules with the element of light and the daily bullying he endured.
