Project 1: Raw Justice (Goal: 20k)
A bag of oranges changed my life. And that's not some f-ing metaphor to be philosophical. Six fat, plump, juicy oranges was all it took for me to fall head over heels. And now I'm stuck, yearning for a woman I can't have. And to complicate matters, she is the federal prosecutor tasked with putting me away for life.
My rational mind tells me to ruin her career. To threaten her family. To put a bullet into that gorgeous head.
My heart just wants to protect her. Hold her close and kiss away her tears. End any bastard who happens to look in her direction.
And the aching fire that has been burning relentlessly craves to separate her from her panties and take her to heaven and back. It has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. But time is running out. My trial begins tomorrow . . .
Project 2: Paradise Rising (Goal: 20K)
He has only ever known betrayal. And he would kill not to fall in love again.
~~~~~
On his climb to the top, Jackson Pierce has literally left a trail of dead bodies in his wake. As one of the most sought-after mercenaries in the world, he has accumulated an abundance of wealth and connections, but his success comes at a steep price. Enemies lurk in every corner, forcing him to lead a secluded life that only centers around a few trusted allies.
This all changes the night he rescues Aaliyah. Beaten, broken, and on the run, she is desperate for him to keep her safe, but Jackson is not a man who easily lowers his guard, let alone open his heart. He knows that there is no greater threat than the one invited into his bed. As danger closes in from all sides, Jackson and Aaliyah get entangled in a net of lies, deceit, and betrayal, and their quest becomes one of survival.
Love can be the greatest gift, but it can also turn into the greatest weapon.
