"Surprise !" Sasha said cheerfully. "Isn't she a cutie ? Found her scratching at the front door, I couldn't just leave her there !"
Demetrius was feeling a mix of enotions. Confusion, awe, love, and maybe some joy ? Inside the box was a tiny cute little kitty. A cat. And a female cat at that. She was a white cat with blue eyes, and she seemed so happy ! She was meowing happily non stop, pawing and clawing and making air biscuits on his chest as he held the tiny thing close.
"Wha...mom...she's so..." Demetrius was at a lost for words. She was meowing so happily, it made him happy too.
"She's so tiny and cute..." Demetrius stroked her furry and fuzzy little head, and the kitten purred loudly. He chuckled.
"Thanks...mom. She is so adorable"
"And excited !" Sasha added on. She laughed before leaving Demetrius alone with the cat. Demetrius laid on the bed, the tiny kitty meowing loudly and excitedly.
"Now why are you so happy you little cutie ?" He said, chuckling as he rubbed her fuzzy belly. The kitten meowed again and licked his finger as it stroked her belly.
"Hmm...ima name you...Baby. Yea. Baby. Baby is a good name for a cutie like you..." Demetrius said. He only named her that because he remembered how Cassidy used to loved it when he called her baby before her unexpected death. Baby jumped happily and exposed her little fuzzy belly to him again. He laughed and continued rubbing her belly for the rest of the night.
