Demetrius, after an hour or two, decided to look for his cat. He searched under the beds, the kitchen, the bathroom, the balcony, everywhere. Finally, after a long 3 hours, he heard some sad whimpers from inside his closet. With a heavy heart, and tears still threatening to stream down his face, he opened the closet door gently, and there he found Baby. The poor cat was shivering, and whimpering madly non stop. It broke his heart, seeing his little kitty like that. He bent down slowly, and put his hand out, attempting to pick her up, but Baby scrambled away into a corner of the closet, still whimpering. Demetrius burst into a fit of sobs. He gently picked her up and held her to his chest, cuddling the kitten close.
"I'm so so so sorry Baby...My Baby Girl..." he softly whispered, kissing her fuzzy forehead. Baby whimpered again, and snuggled into his chest. He carried her back to his bed. He laid down and placed her right on his chest, stroking her fur gently with warm fingers, his touch soft and gentle. Baby fell asleep in a matter of minutes, breathing softly. And soon, Demetrius fell asleep as well.
