Chapter 17~ The Journey Begins

Rin put the last shuriken in her pouch. Sighing she got up and walked out the door. She would have gone next door to tell Sasuke but, she had no time left to meet Naruto and Pervy Sage. However, she would probably have to wait for Naruto either way.

Dragging her feet across the dirt road she made her way towards the gates. Of course only The Perverted Toad was there. Sighing she slid down the gate and sat on the wood floor. She had already said her goodbyes to everyone. However, she still couldn't stop the grief that was making it's way into her chest.

The Old man was still in her mind. She just couldn't get him out.  "You shouldn't be upset about what happened to The Hokage. He would have been proud of you no matter what." She heard a voice from above.

Looking up she met the eyes of Jiraya. Sighing she shook her head and turned her head as sadness filled her eyes. "No. If I was just smart enough. I could have stayed and saved him instead of following Sasuke. Now I don't know what I'm supposed to do! He was supposed to help me with my assignment! He was supposed to teach me! What am I supposed to do now without the damn old bastard!" She seethed.

Jiraya stood shocked. From what he knew about the girl he saw that she once carried an amazing amount of light in her. Innocence. But that was teared up into darkness. She had seen the cruelness of the world. She faced it. Although, he knew he can change that. This trip. He would make sure that after this, she would have the light in her world back.

He started to walk away from her. "I think that Sarutobi would be proud that you didn't save him".- Her head spun to face him so fast it seemed like she could have gotten whip lash.- "You wanted to save your comrades and the village. By not following Sasuke maybe Gaara wouldn't have been defeated. He wouldn't have changed."

"And maybe the leaf would have been over taken."  Jiraya turned his head slightly to face her. He saw that she was thinking. She looked quite funny looking. Her cheeks puffed out and her eyebrows furrowed. In the end she sighed and Jiraya knew he got to her as she smiled towards him.

He opened his mouth to ask another question but wasn't able to ask as he heard a voice calling them.

"Hey guys! I'm here!" Naruto yelled out as he ran towards them with a backpack filled with over flowing items.

"Nice to see you joined us Naru. But do you really need all of those things?" Rin smiled as Naruto pulled her up.

"Of course! These are all the tools essential for a ninj- HEY! What are you doing!" Naruto tried turning around to stop her from throwing out all his tools.

"Naruto. I don't think you need a pot or pan. Or 12 packs of instant ramen."Naruto just pouted and crossed his arms as more things where thrown out. "You brought milk?!"

"Yea. Like what if I get thirsty?" He looked at her.

"NANI? Naruto. This milks expired!!! I'm not going to stop when you have to take pee breaks!!" Rin yelled at him as an irk mark grew on her forehead.

Jiraya laughed. How he will handle these two he doesn't know.  Especially when they both had Kushinas personality. Well Rin did have Miniatos calmness too. Well sometimes that is.

We stopped at a place that had a bell. Naruto of course was playing with it. Hopefully nothing would break. But of course this is Naruto I'm talking about. He just had to break the bell. Though I couldn't help but laugh. Even Pervy Sage let out a chuckle. 

"You know. You two remind me of my student. The Fourth Hokage." He said smiling.

My head turned to him and my eyes widened. Naruto just tripped. "You taught the Fourth Hokage?! How old are you!!!" She yelled out as she tried to imagine a young Pervy Sage. She got chills.

An irk mark grew on his forehead and he hit her on the head. " IM NOT THAT OLD!!!"

Naruto however didn't care that I got hit. Thanks brother. He was jumping up and down. "Really! We remind you of the Fourth Hokage! Is it because we are really strong!! Huh huh huh! Come on tell me Pervy Sage!!"

Jiraya just laughed at Naruto. "You two? As strong as the Fourth? HAHAHAHAHA. Don't make me laugh! No. Now that I think about it. It's only your looks. Maybe Rin is kinda smart like him. he said as he sat on the steps.

"NANI! Of course I am smart like him!! I am smart!"I said yelling at him as Naruto got tangled in the bells and my face turned red. But we look like the Fourth? It isn't possible. Or is it? No. It can't be.

"Alright. Alright. Come on. Breaks over let's get a move on. Theirs a town not far from here that I want to stop at.

Naruto turned to her and quietly mumbled." Yea probably because he wants to stop and stare at women for his "research"."

"HEY WHAT DID YOU SAY!!" Pervy Sage turned to us looking really scary. Naruto hid Behind me. Oh thanks Naruto. So I can die first huh. 

"N-nothing." He stuttered. I laughed. Where's the big talk Naruto. Hold up. A bruise is forming on my head? That jerk!!

From that moment we continued to walk. Everything was becoming great. And the bond between master and his students grew stronger with every step the three shinobi took.

Well. Umm. Hi. Guys. WAIT HOLD YOUR FIRE. DONT SHOOT ME. IM REALLY SORRY I TOOK SO LONG TO UPDATE THIS BOOK. But. *clears throat* I've got my excuses. I've been on vacation with no wifi whatsoever. Literally. I had to go to the lobby and the wifi their sucked. Also. Wattpad decided to delete the drafts from this book and my other Naruto book *hint hint* TWICE. So I had to write everything from scratch. And it might actually suck right now. Whoops.

Anyway. I'm going to try to update faster but school is starting. I think I'm going to hate highschool 😭😭😫

Also. Like I said above with hint hint. I started a new Naruto book. It's most likely going to be a Sasuke one. But I might add some plot twist or something. But the thing is. I'm having trouble creating a title. I was think either "The Road to Being a Ninja. Or Behind Closed Walls. Here's the description.

October 10. Everyone knows it as the day Naruto Uzumaki was born. The day he became a host of a terrible beast. But. On that same day another child was born. Their lives have just been open to their destiny but will they choose the right path?

It's not much but I might post the prologue so it gives a better description. Should I do that? Should I post both stories or should I wait for this one to finish. I mean I already have like 5parts in the new book. But you guys decide.
