Chapter 12: Preliminary rounds

So here we are. Standing in rows behind our team. Well. What basically happened was that Naruto and Sakura were going to open the scroll, but Kabuto came and stopped them. We went to get them a scroll, since they wouldn't take my donation.

I got off Naruto when we entered and I'm pretty sure I heard all the jounin gasp when they saw me.

"Alright maggots. Listen up. Lord Hokage has something to say."

Old Man stepped up. " Since we didn't think so many of you would pass. We are going to host a Preliminary Round."

Some weird sick guy came out and started explaining the Preliminary Round. He kept coughing and coughing which annoyed the living out of me. "Any questions." he finished with a cough.

"I shakily raised my hand. "Alright. So this isn't a question but it's a statement. -I saw Kakashi-Sensei face-palm as if he knew what I was going to say.- GET SOME DANG COUGH MEDICINE YA WIERDO! I DON"T THINK WE NEED TO HEAR A COUGH AFTER EVERY DAMN SENTENCE YOU SAY!!!! Okay that's it!" I ended cheerfully.

Everyone sweatdropped and they continued. They asked if anyone wants to quit and Sakura was trying to persuade Sasuke to quit.

"Sakura. Just stop. If he doesn't want to quit, you can't make him. Nothing's gonna stop him from continueing the exam. It's who he is." I whispered at her.

She looked at me shell-shocked. "Rin!!! You should quit too. I saw you have the same mark on your neck as Sasuke! Don't pretend that you don't becasue I saw it when you were healing them an dthen you had those weird markngs on you as well!"

"So she did see! I should have been more careful"

Looking up, I saw Sasuke looking at me with wide, shocked, and confused eyes. I just shook my head with sad eyes. Sakura was about to raise her hand when both of us grabbed her hand.

"Just stop. It's not your buisness!' Sasuke hissed. Sakura looked hurt when he said that.

'Just stop Sakura. We want to fight. Don't try to stop us alright." I told her. She finally agreed after looking into my eyes.

Then someone raised their hand. "Kabuto! No you can't leave!!" Naru screamed.

"Something wasn't right about that. He quit each time he tried for the chunin exams. Why quit again?"

"Okay! If no one else wants to give up then please look upto the screen to see who fights first. Looking up I smirked when I realized who was up first.

Rin Uzumaki vs. Kei Nakamura.

Naruto came up to me. "Win this Rin! Beat him! You'll win! Believe it!!!" he hugged me quickly as I tried not to wince at the pain I felt.

"Yea. I'll do just that Naru. I'll win for the both of us." I grinned.

Sasuke looked at me with a look that said what didn't have to be said. "Fight well. Win big. Stay safe." Well I hope that's what he meant.

I stood holding my shoulder, smirking at my opponent. Until I felt Kakashi-Sensei behind me.

" Don't over use your power. If the curse mark acts up, I will have to interfere. "

My eyes widened at what he said. "So he knows. " I slightly nodded. He disappeared.

"Alright. Rin are you ready? I nod. "Kei are you ready. Kei nods as well. Okay then begin. " He says and jumps out of the way.
