That night, Vi didn't end up going back to the festival. She started to, but ended up going home instead.

When she walked into the small cottage, she saw Vander still awake on the couch.

Shit

"Violet?"

She nervously ran her fingers through her hair,
"Hey, dad."

"Where are the others?"

"They didn't want to leave yet, I was tired and wanted to go to bed." She replied just wanting to go to her room, never losing the track of thought from the girl she was once in love with.

And although she won't admit it, still is.

"They didn't follow?" Vander questioned.

"No sir." She replied.

"Well alright then." He returned his focus to the tv, as the pink haired individual went to her room upstairs.

She laid back in her bed, almost smirking to herself seeing Caitlyn again. Although she found it amusing to see caitlyn as flustered as she was, it also pulled at her heartstrings to hear she was with someone else.

When the next morning came, Vi woke up late and ran downstairs all her siblings eating at the table.

When she reached the kitchen she finished pulling her hoodie down opening the fridge.

"What's got you so crazy this morning?" Mylo tried holding his laugh.

"I'm fucking late to work Mylo. Who ate my leftovers?"

"Uhh that was me.." Jinx said quietly.

If it was one person she could never be mad at (for long anyway) It was her sister.

"It's fine, i'll find something at work. Clag, I need your keys." She held her hand out.

"What? Why?" Claggor stood up and grabbed his keys off the wall.

"My bikes still in the shop and won't get done til 4, I'm still several parts away from fixing the old chevy dad already left." She took them and grabbed her bag.

"Don't blow anything up while I'm gone please."

When she got to the gym she works at she hurriedly put her stuff down.

"You're late." Her boss marcus called from his office, flipping through paperwork.

"I know, I know. My alarm didn't go off this morning. Please sir, how many times have I ever been late out of the three years i've been working here?" She pleaded.

"I know that kid, but as much as I don't give a shit about you being a half hour late, your clients sure as hell do, and they keep our lights on." He turned his head facing one of the rooms.

"I know." Alright now go get in there.

"Yo, lane real quick." She turned her head seeing one of her coworkers walking towards her with an envelope.

"Why exactly are we having this party anyway?" Caitlyn asked Jayce as they scoured the venue while everything was being set up.
