Caitlyn was sitting with Jayce, on the steps of his workshop."Wait, so you're going back to Noxus?" Jayce questioned looking in her direction.
Caitlyn hadn't told him about her moment with Vi, how could she? How would he look at her? Truth be told; Jayce was trying to get Caitlyn to break up with Vi long before they actually broke up.
"Yeah." She nodded. With almost an emotionless face.
"I see."
"Jayce I'm sorry, truly. How I acted at that party.. I was just so angry. You know what Violet meant to me. She was my everything." She sighs pushing her hair to the side.
"I know. I should've told you. And I don't blame you." He responds with a smile.
"What did you guys talk about?" His eyebrow quirked curiously.
She swallowed. She knew he was just asking about that night on the beach, but it still guilted her about kissing Vi. "A lot."
"Come on Cait, there's more than that. She told you about what I did. So there's got to be something I'm missing."
She sighed. "She told me she wants me back."
If gravity wasn't a thing? Yeah Jayce's jaw would be up in the air.
"And? You told her off right?" He questioned concernedly.
"I tried.. but you know the way she looks at me. Hell, did you not call her out?"
"Cait.."
Before he could answer. An engine killed in front of them.

In the midst of an argument Vi finally speaks a normal tone. "I just can't be around you right now."
"Seriously? When are you ever going to take this fucking seriously Violet." Caitlyn said fumed."Not when you're all up on me!" Vi spat back.
"Because every fight, you run!"
"Because you pick a fight over nothing!" Vi raised her hands, running them through her hair.
"Because you picked a fight with some guy over nothing! My parents already give me shit for even being with you! And when my mother hears about all the fights you start? I have to try and defend you!" Caitlyn retorts.
"I never asked you to do that! I could give a shit about what your parents think of me, Caitlyn."
"I do! They're my family Violet. I want them to see the you that I see. But you make that so fucking difficult."
"Why should I have to prove myself Caitlyn? You fell in love with the person you're talking to right now."
"No I didn't! You act completely different when it's just us! I mean hell, do you think it's easy for me to defend how you act when we're with our friends?"
"Your friends Caitlyn. And if you genuinely feel that way? That you have to try and shape me into someone just so your friends are happy? Then it shouldn't be a fucking relationship like this." Vi didn't want to hear another word, and slipped back out through Caitlyn's window.
——
That same night, Vi knew she was wrong. She knew Caitlyn didn't mean those things. But she was scared. Deep down, Vi knew she didn't belong with Caitlyn. But she didn't let that stop her.
