The College Experience

Part 7

I sat down and he brough over my favorite meal. I looked at him shocked, "How did you know? I never told you..." I snapped my fingers, "Oh mom and dad must have told you."

He smiled, "Nobody told me. I keep trying to tell you that we are one now. I know everything about you, and you know everything about me."

I laughed, "All I know about you is your name is Tyler Hoechlin..."

He pushed, "And?"

"And that's all I know other than you were born September 11 and are from California..." I put my fingers to my lips, "How did I know that."

The smile on his face lit up the room, "Because you know everything about me too."

I questioned, "How does that work?"

He laughed, "I honestly don't have a clue but let me ask you a more serious question. When I was shot how did you feel?"

I shook my head, "I was terrified."

He took my hand, "That was an emotion. I mean how did you FEEL?"

I was confused, "I felt like I was dying."

"It's because I was dying. Luckily the bullet wasn't laced and there was a witch there to get it out so I could start the healing process. Speaking of which," and he raised his shirt to show his finely ripped muscles and there was no wound to be seen. "I know you think we faked the whole thing, but we can't make you feel things you don't want to or aren't supposed to feel."

"I just don't understand."

He lifted me up out of my chair, "Maybe this will help," and he slowly leaned in and put his lips to mine. The electricity when we touched was indescribable. It was like every inch of my body had the hair standing on end.

I pulled away, "What is that?"

"What exactly? Describe it to me."

"Honestly Tyler I don't know how to describe it."

He pulled me close again, "Just try."

"I...It's..." I let out an exasperated sigh, "I just don't know how to describe it. It's like my body is full of electricity just trying to get out and when you kiss me it's like I get transported to another planet...and now I sound stupid."

He leaned in and kissed me lightly on the lips, "You could never sound stupid to me." He laughed slightly, "So you have nothing to compare it to. You think maybe it's normal because you never dated or had boyfriends or anything growing up but I'm here to tell you it is FAR from normal."

I hesitated, "Tyler I need to know for sure. I think I know how to know for sure that this is real." And I broke from his grasp and headed out the door.

He was right behind me, but I didn't stop. Once I was out of the dorm door there stood Justin as usual. Without any warning and before either of them could say anything I kissed Justin right on the lips.

Tyler screamed at me, "(yn) that's not how things work!!"

Justin was shocked but had enough wits about him to holler back, "Hey you leave her alone! She has made her choice."

Tyler laughed and looked at me, "Sweetheart are you okay?"

I turned to him, "Nothing. I feel nothing but disgust."
