Some shuffling sounds destroyed my sleep. I raised my head and look at the makeup artist trying to find the lipstick. It has been 20 minutes since she is finding that.

No, I'm guilty.

I have been sitting at the dressing table for almost 1 fucking hour. So when she was finding that lipstick I slept.

"Leave finding that lipstick please, apply another one," I demanded

I sighed.

After sometime there will be mehndi along his name.

"I got it," the makeup artist exclaimed

I looked at her and then smiled.

She applied it and then my mother barge into the room.

I smiled at her which was actually fake.

"You know you're sister has came already and she is really too eager to meet you." She said and did the last final touch which is najar utarna.

I hummed and then after some seconds Mansi entered.

"Namaste Aunty," she said touching mom's feet

Mom gave blessings and left from there as dad called her.

"You know after this your Marriage is very near?"

I nodded.

"Why are you agreeing?"

"It's for our company," I shrugged

"But Vanshika you can't risk your life for this."

"But remember you were the one who said that he's not bad?" I asked

She sighed.

"Fine do whatever you want," she said and sat somewhere while scrolling through reels.

I took out my phone and went to our cousins group chat.
