You woke up with the alarm blaring at 8 a.m., feeling even more exhausted than when you first fell asleep. The strange dream still lingered in your mind, and you groaned as you reluctantly got out of bed. Mrs. Kang had asked you to come in an hour early today to finish decorating the big tiramisu order from last night, and you knew she'd expect perfection down to the last cocoa dusting.

As you stretched and yawned, you mumbled, "Open daily quest." A familiar blue screen popped up, displaying today's tasks.

[DAILY QUEST:]

[ADD PAIN RELIEF AND FATIGUE RECOVERY TO TIRAMISU ORDER]

[SPEND TIME WITH EGG, MINIMUM 4 HOURS]

"What? Pain relief and fatigue recovery in the tiramisu order? Are you trying to get my abilities discovered or something?" you muttered, half-expecting no reply.

But then, a small chime sounded, and a message appeared:

[IT'S IMPORTANT (o^-')b]

You blinked at the screen in confusion. "...What the fu—"

[NO CURSING AROUND THE EGG!! ರ╭╮ರ]

You huffed, correcting yourself, "—udge. Alright, what is this? Why is it so important?"

[PLOT! ☆⌒(ゝ。∂)]

You stared at the answer, only to sigh in defeat. "Fine, whatever," you muttered, heading to get ready for the day. After throwing together a comfy outfit and gathering your hair into an up do with butterfly clips, you took a quick moment to check on the egg resting securely in its incubator. The status screen showed it was due to hatch tomorrow, making you feel both excited and a bit nervous.

"I should bring you with me today," you murmured, glancing at the egg. "No telling when I'll be back." You scavenged around your apartment, eventually finding the gray backpack you'd woken up with in this world. The incubator fit inside snugly, though you couldn't quite zip it shut. "Hmm... Maybe Jinwoo has a sports bag I could borrow."

With a plan forming, you slipped out of your apartment and knocked on the door across the hall. Jinah had left for school already, but you figured Jinwoo might still be home.

After a moment, you heard a faint shout, "Come in!"

You entered, noticing the faint sound of a running shower coming from the bathroom. Your face heated up slightly, you raised your voice. "Oh, sorry, Jinwoo! I was just wondering if you had a sports bag I could borrow?"

He called back, "Look in the coat closet!"

You headed to the closet, finding an array of jackets and coats. Jinwoo's were noticeably more plain and practical, while Jinah's were bright and colorful. Above them, on a shelf, you spotted a black sports bag. You stretched up on your tiptoes, reaching as high as you could, but it was just out of reach. With a huff, you stepped back, considering summoning a butterfly to nudge it down for you.

But before you could, you felt a solid presence behind you. A warm, large hand rested on your shoulder, steadying you as you nearly stumbled back.

"Easy there," Jinwoo's deep voice murmured, close to your ear. "Let me get it for you."

'HELLO??' was your first thought before Jinwoo moved again

Your breath caught as he reached past you, his muscular arm extending over your head to retrieve the bag with ease. His other hand on your shoulder, and he stepped back just as you turned to thank him—only to freeze mid-sentence.
